Dude, leave us alone with your servers with mana pots. We're talking about low rates here. On low rates there ARE mana problems so the sh is the perfect farmer in proper setup, because when he goes to fg, he can 1 spell kill which is very important.

sphs problem is casting speed otherwize, but... yes, for pve hes very good.

well if for pve, you can go with karmian, SOWD with empower/magic power, and dye with +4 wit -4men...
this build is for both average speed and POWERFUL spells

for pvp on the other hand, go with homun with acumen...
while this build is made for total speed...

Low Rate 1~5x

+4wit / -4men +4int/ -4men +4con/ -5str

PvE : You can have magic power weapon and demon set(+4int)
PvP : Acumen Weapon / Karmian-Avadon-DC-Tallum.

Have always 2 sets of armors/weapons on u.

Middle rate 5~12x

Same dyes/armors/weapons/tactics.

High Rate 12x +

Always have a PvP setup on you.

Not even one mage can carry a lot.. because they have an amount of ~70k weight limit (with+4con dye) and bssc are heavyer than other bss and u need more of them, but there's always some1 who go refueling for an entire party isn't he?
Summon Friend/Gate Chant means much more than just a simple teleport.
Or if u realy are a real farmer.. than dual box , you or anybody else in u're party a dwarf just for that or put some extra ss on u're box , SE,EE(wich have decrease weight3) doesn't matter who/what/how.
Keep in mind that on B grade u don't have so many issues.
And yeah.. if u can aford it you can OE Demon Set until 6 or buy it(you'll have about 90k weight gauge then..).

So u see .. there's always an option on wich u can decide.

for darkartz---> keep in mind that balancing power and casting speed is really helpful in ANY case, either pvp or pve.

just to share, in our server nobody combines demon set, SOWD(empower/magic power) and dye(+4int, -4 wit). i agree that this is a POWER build, but think of how much this will affect the casting speed(FYI 1pt of wit makes a 5% difference in casting speed). SH as you know are the slowest casters, so reducing you wit is NOT A VERY GOOD IDEA.

most of the mystics i know uses karmian(or any set with the same effects) and homun(acumen) and used a dye(+4 wit, -4 men). i've seen them do very well in both pvp and pve with this build.

Look... If you're smart you don't need a balance. You can have very low casting speed and insane mdef as long as you're smart. For example you go to forbidden gateway soloing, not catas for example. You must kill the mobs in maximum 2 hits if you wanna do something.
In higher lvls, you ONLY accept parties that have a tank.

man if u want cast spd(that means in most cases pvp)take homu ofc but if u want to farm better is ofc sowd...especialy if u have sh/necro u can 1 shot most mobs(cdl:)) and lvl/farm very very fast.decide what u like and ofc ur skills:P ur cast spd will be much lower and ur mp consumption will be higher but u will kill mobs much faster and ur downtime will be lower...u can choose sowd+carmian(i prefer that cuz imo its for soloing especialy with SH when u dont have fellows with ya and if u get attacked u can kick some ass) but if there are no pkers/stupid kids trying to kill u and u found ur farming spot u can choose demons set and boost ur matk even more
for b grade again u choose cast spd or dmg(ava set/zubeis set)
