how to win in oly vs mage if i'm paladin ? how to play ?

If he's necro holy armor, the only thing is to get to him and spam the shield stun. Don't try shield bash because it only prevents physical skills, not magical.

Also don't try to heal yourself because it's rather useless. Maybe once you hit ud or vengeance, but not other cases. Don't use hamstring. Use shackle ONLY if you get slowed.

Against mages a tank is usually dead, especially in olympiad. When you hit 30% hp get angelic icon on and stun him THAT'S A PRIORITY. I have a frapsed movie in giran arena, when i take a sps cp, but my hp was already under 30%. I hit angelic icon and kept him in stun. A little luck to land the stuns, and i won the pvp.

absoultely agreed with icarus:) respect:)and just 1 thing i think healing is not bad but vs mage:( so if he forgets to silence u i think would be nice only to use ToL and i think after that the mage if its necro/sh will put on u silence

If server is C5 and you can see and target enemy before match starts...
Use sacrifice on him couple times. Lower your HP. And AI

And anyway, tanks are very good vs nukers in Oly.

I think this was my best pvp, just HAD to keep it. I know i used shield slam on the begining, that was a mistake, i know, but i'm used to playing sk, and it has about the same icon as shield bash.

As you see, the tactic is somewhat simple, but risky. Do your worst till you get 30% hp, activate angelic icon and berserk him.

I dont know about your skill, but that sps was definetely a noob. He didnt even try to slow and kite u, as he should, an in the end he tried to heal himself(lol) with battle heal. As i remember at that point he could kill u with 2-3 Hydroblasts. He didnt use cancel to remove any of ur selfbuffs.
I agree that a Phoenix Knight can kill a Mystic Muse in oly, but i wouldnt give that video as an example

You claim to think statistically, but you can't do it correctly. Angelic icon meant +50% defences and those 2-3 hydro blasts you know it, they would have took some time to cast. That heal saved his life. If you didn't notice, he was in my party and if stun wouldn't have landed, his hp was over 1/2 again. If he hadn't healed, he would have died in the next strike. I suggest you to look at the video again. I had 1k+ hp in the final stages, and he couldn't even cast that final hydro blast. Even if he could cast, i still had 600 hp or so.

He didn't use slow because he pvpd other paladins when he had his mj set at hand, and he said it's not worth it, and the land rate on tanks aren't smiling anyway. Don't you see? I killed him on a knife edge, he wasn't thinking i would get a bit lucky and land those stuns. He couldn't kite me btw, because 30 dex is higher than 24... And in case of a damage exchange, it would have been 1 hydro blast vs 1 stun. I don't think he was willing to make that.

he should at least cancel you.
and you don't have 30 dex you have 28 unless you have any dyes on

oh!and i do think he should kite you at least at the beggining since ice vortex landed.

and finally he was 77 and you are 78.(i think although i'm not sure.but isn't that 1st buff of yours physical mirror?).
or if he is 78 he didn't have arcane power on.if he had we would see his hp go down from the beggining.

so anyway.. if he was 78 and it was such a close call he would win with arcane power very easily. or if he is.. he is kinda noob

st, on most of the server cancel is NERFED NERFED NERFED. It has like 20+ seconds cast time. At the begining yes, he should have kited me, but one thing is theory one thing is real actions. I don't know his lvl, but he really didn't use arcane power.

i'm not against you..
and maybe that was the best tactic to use. (i really never played a pala)

as you said he should kite you and use arcane power..

and i know it's differnet when you actually pvp,especially if you don't pvp a lot an you are tight.that is what we call a newbie

when i say smth i refer on official server.not privates.so yes the cancel has a long re-use time but it lands..
it's not like you had many buffs to remove
i suppose it's smth like this in other servers too.

Cancel is nerfed on high rates because of one main reason: full-buffs.

On high rates it's either full npc buffers, so cancel screws the hell out of you cause it's normally bugged and cancels like 3/4 of your buffs, or you raise your own buffers and it's about the same thing.
