Pala is good too, go for +5 str - 5 con dyes

imo he should try soulhound with the loltactics
steal divinity->curse divinity->nuke->nuke->warp->shining edge(if u dont miss ) ->win

Why would you steal buffs before you use curse divinity, all it's doing is making your nuke weaker.

so the bird practicaly is the damage dealer, you just heal it, and stun the opponent sometimes. Still, your mana will vanish so fast ).
but till your mana is down, the opponent is down too.

You don't need +STR -CON if you're going to use the bird as your main damage dealer.

+CON would give you more CP so you can use Sacrifice more times before your CP goes down (unless ToD lands), allow you to have more HP at 30%, have a bit more stun resistance and generally just make it easier to manage your HP and survive.

Your problem is dealing with Touch of Death, Lightning Strike and Spirit of Shilen (if the ST has it). Some talismans against buff cancel and paralysis, and Mental Shield SA weapon can help with that. Your Angelic/Flaming Icon is more than enough to negate Spirit of Shilen.

As long as you keep aggroing the ST and healing the bird with Sacrifice while you have either Icon's effect on yourself, you're going to be fine. Just be careful not to cast Sacrifice or Icon on the ST when they aggro you.

Also, if they have Smart Cubic, forget about rooting and Shield Slamming them, just focus on keeping the bird alive and managing your healing skills. The ST runs out of MP fairly quickly and it would die easily once it's out of MP.

Save your UD/Vengeance/Shield of Faith for cases when your bird dies. Don't use Shield of Faith with the bird out, it's going to backfire at you.

Depends on what server you play, but if you're on retail or the Talismans work where you play, they can make a big difference. Here's a list with detailed Talisman effects:
