As Lineage II players ourselves, we got tired of all the buggy servers, most never being updated and with constant server downtimes and account wipes....

Blades Of Ateria is an International low rate, Lineage 2 Private Server.
Our rates are x8 and the game is as close as possible to retail with some unique custom features which make the game easier and more fun to play.

Gameserver software is self-developed and has nothing to do with L2Off or L2j Emulators, other than it was started by L2j. Our community is truly international with players from all over the globe and we are really proud of it.

i've been testing the server as well, all i can say that they are rly into making it and they rly focused on common issues to fix w/o being custom
every bug we reported were fixed or was only delayed a lil b4 fixed and even aq works retail like, as well as baium with archangels which is a mere miracle....
the dragonclaw team also makes sure to have the server updated constantly sooo....

opinion/suggestion:

1) Make all rates equal: there is a reason for the proportion in rates... don't go exp x8 / sp x10, players in the long run will have too much SP. Same about x9 drop, leave all rates equal if you want to preserve the balance NC soft created in this game. Not a big deal but it will surely help if you want to keep retail-like in the end.

2) It's a low rate server: make TvT once or twice a day, every 30min it's total announcement spam (dont know if it's every 30min or 90min... in the post both time intervals are mentioned... either case I don't think many will join if they are so regular).

3) What about raid drop rate? I highly suggest a low rate, not a x8 one in this case (epics will drop a ton of sets, and crafting won't be worth it ...).

4) IMO, x2 weight is too much. x1, or x1.5 may be better for a retail-like server. The only aspect that this x2 would hurt is the CP pots spam in PvP.

5) Best fresh server around I think, good luck! Will surely test it, those were only my suggestions, hope someone from staff reads them ^^.

weight limit has only one use
cppotion, that is the only reason it sucks to have it bigger, but most player will have themselves filled with cppots no matter what, so even 3x weightlimit wouldn't hurt, but i suggested that 2x is enough

sp is increased because low lvl players under 3rd class, the basic skills should be learnt w/o too much of a problem and on 8x a lot of classes would suffer because of it
skill enchantment won't be that overbalanced with only 2x increase, especially because the books are a little bit harder to get, to compensate the 10xsp

the raid boss drop rate is set to 1x, the sp and exp reward however is good so that bosses still worth it, but big clans won't get a huge advantage, other than quickly lvl

about the tvt even, y, it has to be changed:)

This server looked really good to me, and I wanted to give it a try.

BUT

on your server website I saw that it was possible to donate for ingame rewards. Can you tell me more about this? Your server looks very good, but I dont really like to play on lowrates where you can donate for items.

But as far as I know, rewards are just small and simple rewards to get a bit more people to donate, as monthly bills for a dedicated server aren't exactly cheap.
