bd's are always needed, sws...only if the farming is a lil bit hard, but in pvp it's essential, but even then ppl would rather choose a bd then an sws
however it's not like having a da and a pa to decide which tanks better....sws is needed even if there are bds and sws is much harder to find, when there are some cases when ppl don't need any more bds
