Hey GS u said smth which isnt totally right. For example with some classes (me at least, I like to use only 2 rows of icons, the third is only self buffs and sh1t like that), I have troubles in putting all the needed skills in the bars. Even with 3, for example, that was one downside I always pointed out in SK, u have /attack, sting, judgment, 2 drains, cubics, sword (health?), sword (haste/focus/whatever), bow, mage weapon, guard stance, 3 UDs, magic reflect, the other toggles, para, cp/hp pots, soul/spirit shots, hex, pb, arrest, etc, etc, etc
So many things, I would need like 5 bars to put all the skills and items i want.

So sometimes its usefull to make a macro for example
/equip SoM
/freezing
/lighting
/drain
/drain
could add poison and hex, pb etc etc

so instead of using like 5+ spots, u would only use 1

I also use macros for /xxxforce cos pressing crtl is a pain in the ass, specially when u try to reach the last buttons after F5, and u have to write and speak on vent etc etc it becomes very unconfortable, although I use it mostly for skills which I can spam. I dont use macros for CP cos I play mostly mages, that means low weight limit, so I preffer taking 200 GCP than 100 GCP and 100 CP

the problem is that ingame macros are so bugged on most of the servers
and u never know will u be able to use all those 4 skills u mentioned anytime without anything to interrupt u or to break ur plans

my tactic is this
3rd bar is for all the shit in the world like toggles cubics selfbuffs
first bar till 5 or 6 is for mellee attack skills
2nd bar till around 4 is for debuffs(example hex,bp,freezingstrike,lightningstrike)
now its up to u how will u manage the rest
i personaly fill the endbuttons with cp pots and elixirs
ofc u could make a macro that would use x2 drains
but relaying on macros?>.<

u should have cp macro,assist macro (#KILL ---> % target), if ur a buffer u can make a macro for mage/fighter buffs etc.macros aren't useless at all.

man buff macros are something else
ofc target macro is a must but skillsmacros?fail
and there are acplike programs that eat the cp pots

maybe he's talking about the assist macro (p1zda la volan ---> %target) or that kind of macro's which u can attack ur war tags w/o clicking the ctrl button first

nop :F assist macro it's useful coz when u press it ur party m8's can see how cool u are <3

loldude assist macro is very important
as a healer u could make "DEFEND THE BISHOP----> %target" so if some1 hasnt noticed that u r under attack u can alert
and MAs should use that too to alert of new targets and etc etc
very important shit

Only use macros for buffing with box and rolling a cigaret/getting a drink meanwhile.

personally, i use macro's for: assist, cp (if i'm DD) and WTS/WTB/WTT flood ^^
@razveck: try using the ctrl button from the right corner of ur keyboard with the f5 - f12 buttons also (ofc u have to change ur main skills there).

i have a friend that once used his gum to keep ctrl button down:D
