i'm starting to play on a interlude 6x rates server once it gets wiped, and im not sure what tank should i choose... so far i was thinking about SK or DA. and i wanna see you're opinion about what tank is best for farming, oly, pvp against other tanks, pvp against mages, archers, daggers etc. also what equips and dyes to choose...
btw one of my friend is going to BD, and the other one will probably be SWS, and we'll also have WC or PP, so there's probably gonna be no problem with buffs...

for farming a lot of ppl turn to DA because of the panther.

But i prefer Pala, due to his healing capabilities. Pala + Wolf/Great Wolf (the items for wolf are not cheap but they are a must!) is a farming industry. Just keep agro on you and your wolf will be fine.

For pvp, my all time favorite is SK. With some help (SK gearing up is no cheap task!) you will need both mage and fighter gear. And buffs also!

For oly, there is just a matter of taste. Some praise in Oly the TK, due to his high def capabilities.

Dyes are a tricky business.
Going -CON for a tank, in some views is a stupid thing.
Going +STR is to get close to a DD than a tank. But u will need something to lower.
Going -DEX is not such a good idea, because u need block rate.

It all depends on play style. I saw -8 str on Pala, +4 CON +4 DEX. It was indeed a meatshield, but in cata it was hard to keep agro on him, and it was worse on raids.
What I have tried was +4 str - 4 con with a health weapon on Pala, and for farming It was quite ok. I`ve removed those dyes in high levels, when I was heading for RB parties.

Search for SK dyes and u will find some good info.

After all, all depends on your play style.
