Please clarify on the questions below for Hellbound:

1) How much damage does 'focus death' add to blows? In Gracia (my friend just tested), it does not add 90% from the back... it's more like 40%. Is there information on Lineage2.com stating when it was changed (if it was at all)?

2) How much damage do soulshots add to blows?

And in HB the bonus damage is still 90%.

He just tested with his 82 WR on retail on an NPC; without focus death was roughly 720ish, with was 1100ish.

Friend just tested blows with and without soulshots on retail: it doubles the damage. Was this the case in HB? He doesn't remember.

But it seems that all took place in Gracia as well. I can't find any notes on Lineage2.com saying that they lowered the blow damage from behind either from HB > G2.

Stfu with u'r friend tested. 1st of all no need for same topic, 2nd of all gtfo from that lol srv, 3rd don't dbl post. Since it appeared the skill didn't got nerfed or changed soo it has been all 90% dmg unless u can find any info on expansion that says different. Soo in the end 1. u'r char is bugged (unlikely), 2. Ur skill is bugged 3.rd u are a freaking ... to open a topic that doesn't need to be opened. 90% dmg from behind and that's final.

Ps: if u woulda started the post with a honest "1st time playing l2 and i made a dagger, dunno how to use search" ... etc. i woulda answered in another manner.

the formula for skill crit dmg is different , even death whisper doesn't add +35% or dance of fire for skills

so sextoy before u start spreading ur stupid thoughts on forums make sure u are right and not guess talking

I got another friend who I used to play with test this out on Bartz on his 79 GH. He told me it's 90% absolutely, hit the NPC from behind with FD and it was about 40%. Then he said it's just bugged, ran to a blazing swamp mob and it actually was 90%.

So apparently this means all these tests on NPCs are the issue? I give up. I'm waiting for someone awesome to post who knows this for sure.

its 90% from back 60% from sides(back stab can be done to said 2) and if u remove targed whit ect u can stab to face it will count as a side stab whit 60% more crit dmg if he arent targeting u. and sol shots boost only back stab dmg deadlt blow dmg is not boosted and it is 40%

WTF your talking about ?? ... far as i know FOCUS DEATH adds 90% power from back and FOCUS POWER adds 60% from back and 30% from sideways

And he is right btw .. on all servers i've tested FOCUS DEATH .. it bearly adds 40% to power not nearly 90% ...

Just to sum this thread up really fast:

On retail, blows on NPCs with FD add around 45% from behind. Blows on mobs add 90%. No idea how the hell that works. More tests tomorrow vs players.

I was incorrect about the tests with soulshots. Still not sure if they add to any blows at all. Will try to get this tested tomorrow as well.
