At one time, just like you, I was a player. I've led many CP and clans from servers around the globe in private and retail servers. After the collapse of Bartz in the NA scene, as I am Canadian and proud to be one, I found myself hopping private servers in search of something with substance to call home. But the private servers were always unsettling with the sheer amount of GM corruption and donation sinks that made it all feel wrong. With DDOS, and threats, and spitting and poking, and the greed, L2 has become a black hole consuming the life from its players.

So I put together a team of engineers and built L2Cosmic. My vision was to deliver a server built by players, for players, in the absence of game-breaking corruption, overpowered donations, and recycle times / shady opening practices that I always found to be unethical, in a sense. Yet time and time again, despite numerous complaints, players find themselves supporting the big guys that feed off your money with private donations and bad practice. We are not those big guys. We are just like you, fed up, tired, and hungry for a server with substance.

I am not asking you to come to L2Cosmic, nor am I begging you, nor am I offering your big clan/CP incentives to join us. I am simply telling you that is in your best interest to support us. We may not have the history of other big servers, since we are new, but really what do they have? A track record of scams and private handouts? Since when has new become something to skip/avoid? New is good. New is fresh. A new outlook. A new server. Don't take new to mean weak. With a $5k advertising budget I can personally guarantee you that we will put in the effort to mold L2Cosmic into a massive project that you desire. But we can only succeed with the help of this community. We need your support.

Heed my words, I have poured my blood and sweat into L2Cosmic, as its project manager, to design a platform that I am proud to say is the best server this winter with equal opportunity for all players and no broken donations. I've made sure to guide my team to deliver excellence in a way that you have never seen before. So make the right choice.

I like the Donation part, it's not like in other servers, like if you donate you get this huge advantage over non-doanting players.
