As these stupid brainwashing stories they tell you, Alexander the Great tried to spread the Macedonian culture, using the Greek language as it was the international language of this era, just like english is nowadays. Oh really? Then why did he spread the Greek one instead of the Macedonian culture? Maybe because a Macedonian nation never existed? Yes.

Also, Macedons worshiped the Greek Gods, spoke and wrote Greek. How is it possible, FYROMians to speak Slavic then? A language whose writting was made by Cyril and Methodius centuries after this era?!?

These two brothers, Cyril and Methodius, were from Thessaloniki. One of the most important cities of Macedonia. Do you even know what Thessaloniki means?

Thessaloniki > Thessalia (another Greek area) + niki (Victory), Victory over Thessalia. They built this city to celebrate their victory.

- Macedonians took part in Olympics.
Only greeks were allowed in Olympic games.
They even won in some sports. = Greeks.

- Skopjans (FYROM) are descendants of Slavs.
They're South Slav tribe. Just like Bulgarians and Serbs.
Slavs came into South European scene in 6th - 7th century AC.

- Macedonians used a form of greek language...

- In Macedonia you can still find statues and other monuments of the
ancient world. They have temples and statues of the 12 Olympian Gods.

- Early writers talked about Macedonias as greek tribe.

I could point many many many more facts but I'm too lazy atm.

The fact they NOW live in a part of the Macedonian-Greek empire
which existed 2000+ years ago doesn't make em descendants of the Macedonians...

All they do is spread lies and dress them as facts....

Bulgarians nowadays are a minority in Macedonia like Albanians, turks and Serbs.... It's the same in every country.
There are many Greeks in nowadays Albanian region and in Bulgaria and Turkey.

Bulgaria attacked Byzantium empire in order to capture Thessaloniki. That happened in 13th century or so. Has nothing to do with Macedonian identity.
Bulgarians failed to conquer Thessaloniki and left.
Many people were left behind and merged with the Slav tribes that lived
inside Byzantium.

Now tell me, how does all that make us all Bulgarians?
Greeks kept their culture and language for thousands of years.
Even when being slaves under Turks for 400 years.
Does that also make us all Turks?

Fact is, Macedonian region is full of greek names and monuments.
That shows greek identity, doesn't it? I showed u some facts before.

It prooves that Greece is Greece, Macedonia is Macedonia, Bulgaria is Bulgaria.

As an area, not as a nation. Actually, the area where FYROM or Skopje lies used to be part of the Macedonian Empire, but FYROMians are in no case descendants of Macedonians.

We don't say that the whole Macedonian territory is ours.
Ofc everyone has his part.

What we do disagree about is the name.
Macedonia means pride, culture and strength to us Greeks.
We don't negotiate our culture.

They can take the piece of land and name it w/e they wish.
But historically they can't prove their accusations.

They wanna use Macedonian name, our name, and history to improve their economy. To increase their tourism. And to blind their people and make em

ex-BG territory lol? When you came to the Balkans we had more than 6000 years of history in this place. Since Bulgarian invasion failed, Greece was never occupied by Bulgarians. Do I have to remind you that the Bulgarian King was forced baptised Christian? Bulgarians only occupied parts of Greece, which were mostly taken back during the Balkan wars.

How can you characterise the whole issue a scandal from Greece's side? What FYROMians did is pure historic thievery.
