I miss the Lineage 2 I've met some years ago.

We used to walk around the road lines from Gludio to Giran due to lack of Adena, it was really hard to buy something. Every fighter class suffered more than mages, because they spent more Adena with soulshots and healing potions, even if it was fun to see mages being killed by the monsters when they ran out of MP in the middle of the battle.
I still miss the usual party trio: Treasure Hunter, Bleade Dancer, Prophet, when they used to own a place around the world, and almost nobody could kill them without zerging the whole place. I know the daggers were somekind of overpowered just like mages Aura Flare.
It was fun to hunt down raids for the fun and for low end gear, the B grade used to be our S80 grade, and we used to be topz wering our +3Bops QR with doom/bw sets. Our top jewels were Black Ore, and still no mage could 1 shot us.
Since the battles used to be slower we felt the PvP Glance in every minute, those who had the wisest healer could win the fight.
Our summoners could pwn everyone around, just a small Kai/Merrow/Soulless party could get down anyone who chased them. It used to be 2 chars being controlled by 1 player.

And then NCSoft started to create the small adventures.
I don’t know if I call Lineage 2 The Duel, or Lineage 2 Battle Arena, or Gunz L2…
Today people use Chant of Victory, Baium, Antharas, Valakas… they seem like flashes. The fight end up in 1shot every mage, and also every mage can 1shot somebody. It’s strange how the healer is a Glass Statue now, they can only res 3 or 4 people in party, do 1 balance of life and die with 1 archer crit or 1 dagger backstab. I saw in some baium raids the raiding crew get healers being 1shoted almost everytime… the ones who had more healers were the winners, and not those who had the best skilled healers. OFC< you just need to res/nobles bless/get ressed…
And summoners, what can they do? If they send Main attack pet, they get erased in 1 second. So there is only room for Cat Queens and Seraphims in some PvP parties, the Spectral Master turned to be just a PvE rock machine.

And now more and more items are making the pvp even more faster… those who have better gear seem like supermans flying around and 1shoting every newbie around.

In the end of all, the new (old) Olympiad games were made to feed and to be fed, big and strong alliances could get the most heroes online… and not those who have better skills… you just need a good PvP class (Duelist/Augmented Elven Elder/Phoenix Knight) and 150 top elemented gear + some bossie jewels to pwn everyone.

That's the same with me, i don't play l2 because of all new shit... And it's really good to remember old times, we used to run all around like some lolz noobz, it was so much fun...

i remember my first char!was a SE(GoDs3nD)!!i was so inspired!
but i couldnt find the succubuses for the quest so could u imagine that i traveled the whole amp in search of succubus?i tryed to kill lvl 56 mobs with mah lcl 24 dark elven mystic
i finaly became oracle at lvl 34!it was already time for 2nd class transfer!
but i lvled pretty fast
ppl were heplfull
and cruma tower pts rewarded me with SO MUCH fun
i remember first time my foot step on toi
it was something new for every1

god damn ppl used to have shi7loadz of fun with c grade equipment(without SA!!)
ncsoft d00dz try to offer something new and interesting but we see only something..lame and already seen somewhere

at fisrt ive played on 1x c4 server ... exp without shots, no adena for soe/ports (i walked long distances on foot, sometimes even for 1-2 hours xD)
i had a orc warrior, at lvl 25 i started quest for orc raider - when i finished it, i was so happy xP
that was rly nice ... we did this quest in a party of 10 ppl .. all of them were experienced like me and it took us about 7 days
i havent known words like noob, fu etc. ...

I played c3 first, but it was rly awesome, looking at the lvl20 skills, loved my sorc, I never had the best equipment but I loved to collect money for a better one.

Now....it's like all servers are pvpservers where you have to lvl....

foot on long distances lol >.< i remember the time that i was in dion and wanted to port to gludio but i ported to giran for mistake and than i had to walk all the way xD .. at that time i dont remember any1 asking pls adena pls adena now when i port to gludio i get 1k pms xD .. ye +1

Lineage II is not only about leveling your character and being all powerful..

but it pays too look back and realize that we were noobz once ^^

i remember the first time i played l2... i had a destro. an orc rider in fact. boy the times i had then... i don't know how but we were 4 orc fighters at the start, 4 noobs... when i got to lvl 20 and bought my d grade stuf ( brigadine and a talbar) i thoght i was knig fo the world!!! nothing could stop me!!! ofc i was wrong...

when we were lvl 45-50 ( i was a destro with war axe and shield, one was with flamberge, one was with spear and the other was a ty) we use to go only to dragon valey for hours and hours just for fun, and making our way to antharas( we never knew who the hell that was, we only knew he had a cave named after him XD ). those were the days.... we went on pure suicide missions, stuff was allways droping from us.... oh, the fun!!!! i miss C4, best cronicle ever!!!!
