What can a summoner (WL or ES) do on party/mass PVP? Just buffing with the pet's buff?

allo f the summoners have mass skills
the pony has a nuke ( hydro blast.. its massive skill)
the spectral lord also has a mass skill but i think it was usable only when there are corpses nearby(too lazy to search )
the feline king has 2 mass skills--->root and powerfull skill that deals sh1tloadz of dmg
well since im a DE lover i'd go for PS coz i like throwing death spikes all around and sendin my imba lewt summon pwning everything near it

Thanks for your reply, but I wanted to know about summoners in party, with party summons (Feline Queen and Unicorn Seraphim).

both of them are usefull,seraphim for mage party,and cat for fighter party

summoners are lets say not so good in pt vs pt pvp. simply there are better options. however as a summoner you should spam banes. it is pritty annoying to rebuff all the time.

if somehow u managed to get a pvp pt as summoner u got not many things to do:
cast banes
use pet's buff
cast debuffs on enemies
play a meat shield

summoners were more useful in previous chronicles, now they r crappy and its a lot better to take kamael on their place

still they can do some nice dmg... is it's a specialized party go for WK or ES... PS is better in party...

don't underestimate summoners, full buffed, summon + pet can be helpfull... the summon does nice dmg, it get's constantly healed, the summoner can heal it, can cast a few debuffs... that's why i love PS, death spike + his very nice cubics ... and yeah, be cannon meat )

wk/es were rly popular in older chronicles like c5/IL
i still remember how easy was to lvl up a wk from 60 lvl , how many time spent in catacombs or IT with archer/dagger setup
now i would rather take a kamael or other dd than summoner

Summoners in pvp pt is a waste of a precious slot

Edit: They wouldnt be bad, but if ur fullbuffed servitor dies you have to summon new, and you wont get rebuff just for him
