i was reading everything u all wrote here and i still have my doubts...
first question: what's more important for an HE??? +DEX or +STR ??? talking about PVP.
i know all theories about 2 armour sets, 2 weapons and dyes setup for PVP and PVE
i don't wanna loose -8 CON anyway,stun danger u know. opinions pls
i repeat DEX or CON, i don't want long debates about that, just a short explication.
acctually i'm concerned if i'll add STR i'll miss more times then if I"d add DEX.
second question:
i was thinking to use a tallum heavy set on my HE, and SB QR.
i wanna use tallum because of the very slow bow, i'll gain same attack speed.
so...with these combination tallum heavy (-2 CON !!!!) and sb qr what dyes should i use???
i think +DEX . again i don't wanna loose to much CON, otherwise, i'll be affected by stun very often.
i wanna mention HE is my second class, i have main STS 78, sub SOULTAKER 77, and now ... archer.(on DEX server) i know everything about mages, but not too much practice and experience with archers.

On my HE I have MJ set and + str - con dye...
Tallum heavy isnt very bad...but light armor classes depend a lot on evasion..
Anyway, put +3 str and +3 str -6 con...
With MJ stun resist u compensate for - con..

If you find + dex not helping , remove it and make +5 str instead..

Actualy a stat can be encreased only with 5 point so maybe you meant +3 +2 str -3 -2 con.

The dyes depend on this if u fight full buffed or self buffed. So its different.my proposal.

armor: magestic leather armor
weapon: every kind of bow SA:QR - focus
dyes: +4con -4str

I said IF he sees + dex is useless...
He should get +5 str <-- as max.

And you don't pvp unbuffed , do you? lol
And + 4 dex will give you what on HE? +20 att speed?
+ 8 crit rate? +3 speed? So usefull =/

pls dont go -9con for pvp i taste it and use dragonic.
with same items and same bows my HE-9con cant get 1 win vs another HE
with another dyes

In HE vs HE combat u need MJ light,bow with focus SA,+4 DEX -4 STR +1 DEX -1 STR and noting more if begin to lose and lost hp or cp too fast use snipe too!

1. Why MJ light couse u get -5 STR that is like -500 p atk i thing,also u get stun resist!
2. Why this dyes couse u always will stun,hit,crit first!
3. Why SA focus couse u will have more critical rate and that is very useful on self buffs or without songs and dance's!

p.s. whit that gear/dyes at lvl 72 i win a 5 duels vs lvl 76 Sagi at full s grade gear+DB(focus)+Earing of Anharas i never get stuned and he has like 2 stuns per a duel...the duels was at pp buffs(lvl 74)!

ty all for answers. it seems somehow maj set is a kind of "must". i knew that but ... pretty hard to get. at least for me at this moment.
for now i got tallum heavy set and sb qr.
i'll get +5 dex -5 con. for the beginning.
i'll try that. if i won't like it i'll change to +3 str + 3 dex / -6 con or something like that. not sure yet.

and never even consider goin' for -STR for archers...

U - your con = U performe sepuku with your char

Nowdays evasion isn't such a great factor, it really makes a difference only in vs archer combat. Of course, ncs decided to make magic evade possible so it will be important.

And it's no use making +6 str because maximum obtainable by dyes is +5. How do you plan to get +6?

@Paagrio, -5 con on a hawkeye really isn't major.

with +3str-3con +2str-2con and draconic gives u another +1 to get the +6str
