There are multiple ways of setting up for pvp as a Tyrant but what i prefer is to put:

+2 STR - 2 CON, +3 STR - 3 DEX, +4 WIT -5 INT

Why?

A tyrant needs to do as much damage as possible per attack. You can't outrun a Tyrant in oly for long, and if you try it will cost you.

First off, as a Tyrant you need be quick and smart when using your skills, the tyrant is very good at adapting to different opponents and therefor he can be either one of the worst in pvp or one of the best.

In Oly, it's always good to charge up and wait for your opponent to make the first move. If you're fighting a mage, you need to wait with your range attack until he has started some of his debuffs which is the most likely first hit. Next use your charge to interrupt that attack. Against any range opponent you need either rabbit or wolf totem to catch up with him or her and stun and then put away all your close attacks.


Offtopic: About the discussion about Tyrant vs Gladiator, i think that these two have the same potential even though the gladiator has some major advantages with new skills comming. But for me the Tyrant has always been in advantage because of his totems and stun. Later on he got Zealot which made him seriously great on low hp.

It depends on player, not on class. If player is really good he will win with tyrant or other class against gladiator etc , if it is bad player he will lose against all.

f u go vs daggers/tanks/warriors then
u will need heavy+health weapon

if u go vs mages/archers u will need light armor
and crit.stun/health


beter have both (use health and when u have around 50% hp use bison
and crit.stun weap)

Totems :
best way to start a meele combat is with ogre totem and finish it with bison
(50%hp)

but when u go vs archers beter use wolf nuke em (sonic rage/blaster)
and they will die quickly

Dyes always use +4 CON +4 STR -8 DEX
and don't even look the comments of all gladys

hmm.. reading this thread, i realize that there sure are some people with no ethics.. i play official server too.. just passing by, looking for other GK play style, then i felt the urge to post. ^^

i play GK in my server(official too). i use 3 sets of armor. in oly set up, IC heavy for figter/dager. Draco for archers and funny but i use ava light for nukers.. y? figure it out yourself. weap? DS health. no tats

in farming grounds for PVP or mass PVP i use Draco and SH haste. spam raging force + force blaster. and o f cors spam CP pots

1 good thing about private server is POWER LEVELING, ADENA, ITEM SALES, AND BOT PROG. just dont let GM catch you. because of this bot prog i have 2 cardinals tailing me and ready to auto heal when HP is down. so hm.. even a hero cant kill me if hes alone. tsk tsk.. 3 man PT? so easy.. 4? im dead.
