Just saying it is custom could imply anything. How is it Pay To Win?

a 2 month run on that server will cost you around 215 EUR to play. if you dont pay you get raped by players that pay. p2w.

lol Funny they would advertise "NO P2W" right in the title. With this I would assume that "NO BOT" means there isn't "just 1 bot", but "a lot of bots" and "NO WIPE" means absolutely no wipe, except every friday

I checked the web site. I could not find where it said you had to pay to play on a daily basis. And the items they did charge for are for lazy people. Like quest for noblessee etc.

Everything they charge for is kinda high priced, but also doable if you put in the time.

Even if they dont advertise the fact that they charge for things on the server, I have played on servers where the staff was corrupt and gave their friends bonuses etc. Its like NC Soft saying they are handling the bots, but in reality they loved the extra income while doing it. Cheaters be everywhere.

Well, I'd say that noblesse for donate, especially on older chronicles where you had to kill Barakiel to get it, is definitely "P2W" in my book. And things like clan skills and clan level increase also.

Tbh I'm not that worried about donations in general these days - pretty much any server that gets some traffic will inevitably get RMT, so ultimately it doesn't matter whether you get stuff from server admins or from real market traders But if the server wants to advertise itself as "NO P2W", I'd expect donate only for cosmetics, like colorful title or hats.

I don't know. I did that quest 4 times on retail before it went F2P. I hated that quest with a passion. But killing Barakiel was never a problem solo as an SE or Bishop. There were always enough higher bored level people willing to help.

Now on a smaller scale server you may not get that help. So being able to either vote your way to the quest or donate a few bucks, in my mind is not such a bad idea. Being nobless does not give you super powers.

It beats not being able to finish it.

But I do agree with you on the other stuff. No + on weapons and items that give you an edge. Or hard to craft items.
