This server has a huge potential, however DDoS protection could play a key role in success of the server.

Evoke is always cooperating with teams like lineage2.ru or sth like that, +500gb DDOS protection should be enough ;]

Whaaa... NO!! No, please! Evoke is not THAT big yet to lauch a whole new server among with the current one, this might lead the desolation of the current Interlude server. Please consider this before just announcing this out of the blue without even mentioning it in the forums.
I love GF, maybe even more than C6, but I just reached S-grade and game is just starting for me. I don't want to grow up to 78 only to find an empty Interlude server. Why not migrating the CURRENT one to GF instead, so everyone can retain their character and items? Please consider this or an option for character- or at least items migration... maybe for a decent amount of vote reward coin. Give it time and act only when the audience come to demand it. You have to consider the loss of the Interlude server as a result of opening this GF one... Are you sure you wanna do this?

There will be no migration, just keep enjoying the IL server, it's not going anywhere.

The audience in Evoke wants an IL server, they'll never demand for a GF server, they're different.

Just because you and few others farmed hard on less-populated-eight months old srever doesn't mean they should give up on hundreds of new players that would play on new server, I repeat on NEW server.

L2Magic, project that failed at day 1 had over thousand unique players and that was not reliable project to begin with. L2Evoke proved that they don't wipe servers, 8 months is a HUGE in today's L2 community, which means many players will come to play on the new server. However biggest issue will be that Russians gonna bombard this server extremely hard, because they don't want to give up on thousands of EU players that they successfully integrated in russian community.

Why not just upgrade the current one? Most high level players will find reason to keep on as new players will look forward for GF goodness.
This will include a certain continuity to things that will please most, produce growth and not leave a dead c6 server behind...

How would you feel on fresh GF server, for example after hour of game ure in city and there are ppl full geared, max lvl etc. For you its server start? nah i wouldnt start on it, there is no point in opening server like that because of 100 players who are lazy and dont want to lvl up on next one...
