how can i kill a destro with OL? he has so much HP.. :/
and good dmg...
please respond only if u did it and know how.. not assuming...
coz i asumed too .. -.- and lost.

hey
i killed destro once with my OL. We had a duel.I was self buffed he had basic buffs.we were C equipment both of us.i first did seal of winter then started runing,he followed and i did seal of binding (it landed) so.. he ws rooted and i got some distance and started draining him out
i did arround 6 drains when the root dissapeeared. he atemted to use frenzy/and his skills that he use on low HP but becouse of the distance between us he couldnt get in time to me. the next drain was the last :)
i have won
however i was lucky to land that root, and i think it would go difrently if we were both high lvls.consider hes high resistance to all kind of abnormal states. dont try to seal to much
dmg is the only think u can count on. self buffed or even with ww he is slower then u. use that and with some luck u might kill him :)

some tips fighting destro with OL:

buffs: always have bts high lvl, emp lvl 3, wm and clarity lvl 3. THESE ARE A MUST!!! no clarity, no empower, NO CHANCE!!! the other buffs u know...

equipment: acu wep and maybe a good magic hold one... i had an Imp staff +hold +7 and it did wonders!!! robe: best u can buy: DC set +6

tactic: sleep + root + and then drain as much as u can... no sence into using other seals, ur mana ain't enough... maybe a seal of flame or poison

if u got a dedicated recharger in mass pvp ( that's a nice thought, not to plausable) u can try winter, chaos, slow... again don't overdo it with the seals.

stay out of his range, dont try cp restore to much, better use drain.

Anyway destro is a pretty hard target for an OL. especialy one with healt wep and some +con dyes. he can even go +4 con -4str... when he hits zealot or frenzy it wont matter, ur dead!!! agaist mages i always keep lionhart after i use frenzy.

can u explain more? i am not familiar with al those abriviations.. i mean what is wm buff?
what u mean magic hold ? if i have acu i cant have magic hold then... :/

Never played with OL, but wouldn't be it a better idea then to get an empower or magic power SA?

You NEED that acumen beacuse Overlord has a low casting speed. Instead Empower SA you'll need to overenchant that weapon, or get some nice augmentation on it. E.g.-celestial shield, or passive empower. You'll have to turn soul guard on everytime you fight against a fighter.
All you can do against a Titan with Zealot+frenzy is to try to sleep/root/slow him, turn soul guard on, and run as fast as you can. (But it only works in the older chronicles. In Gracia Final Lvl3 Zealot gives 80% debuff resistance) If you are still alive when the titan's frenzy+zealot is over, you just spam your drain and he's dead meat.
If you have a healer/recharger by your side (Eva's Saint) he can cast some heals on the titan so he'll lose the bonuses of frenzy(cuz his hp goes over 30%, but zealot remains, which still can be destructuve) and manaburn him so again Titan=dead meat. All you need to do is to drain his life away now.
But you'll always have to take much care and kite him. If he gets close while frenzy+zealot is on, you'll probably dead.

wm = wild magic - Temporarily increases critical attack rate of magic attacks
magic hold = SA bonus = Has a 20% chance of casting Dryad Root when using a magic skill on the target
Imperial Staff - weapon - S grade 2 handed blunt
If you don't know basic things like that ...I doubt that you will defeat a destro ever. :)

You can't omg....but if you read again you will see that he said " AND " a magic hold one - > that means 2 weapons ffs
