Hi, i play in l2 lym atm as an sk. I dont have much experience in l2 and when it comes to tanks i dont know almost anything. BUT i like sk as a class so i ll stick with it. My equip is dynasty heavy full attributed and dyn sword for weap (i used wind in weap but dunno if its good) everything +0. For skills i have some +10 but nothing great, only those which help me in farm (aggro stun hex and passive patk or whatever its called). Now in oly i can beat a lot of ppl but i had a problem vs a da with s grade armor. The thing is that i die in seconds even with ud on. His panther cancels me and then i activate sof or some other ud and i get raped in like 3 seconds or so. So.. any advice? :P
FYI i dont want to reroll-change server (until that rf thing gets on) and yes i am a noob

well IC>Dyna for tank and there is IC found so you should get it too..not only panther has cancel..DA has ToD and Insane crusher too..so you can only hope that he doesnt cancel your haste...ah also DA has reflects..with seed of revenge lvl 3 DA deals shitload of dmg..
oh this might be cause you dont have his attri in set..or dunno

Well i really dont see why ic is better than dynasty
Ic: P Def. +8%, Maximum HP +445, Sleep/Hold Probability -70%, DEX -2 STR +2, Probability of Poison/Bleed -80% with Imperial Crusader Shield equipped.
Dynasty: Con-1, Str+1, P. Def +4.6%, MaxHP +418, Darkness Resistance +6
With Shield: Increases probability of Poison and Bleed Prevention. With ese II (which i have) these chance into: Str-2, Con+2, P. Def +5.4% MaxHP +492. Increase Darkness Resistance +8, M. Def, Sleep Resistance.

Not tested but dyn should give more pdef than ic even with that +3.4% pdef difference and the rest seem better in dyn armor. Foundation is that big of a deal? And i have all attributes in my armor with almost the same amount. First time i fought i managed to get sos on which combined with vengeance should do miracles, instead i died in a few seconds. Dunno whats wrong

stay with dyn set
cancel that mofo too
enchant ur tod +chance, try to get a pvp dagger, cancel talismans etc
wind attribute on sk is fine
and your first job vs a DA is to kill the panther

what dyes/certs are u using?

I use +4 str -4 con and wit dyes. Tried with +4 dex -4 con too and it wasnt bad but too low con i guess for a tank. As for certs i use haste-spirit-barrier

dyna lvl II is much more better than some IC set...make fast level and buy skill spirit of shillien it will helps you a lot :)

i wouldnt put dyes on tank unless its pala..so remove them
and...IC is better than dyna no matter what you say..

to give a general idea check the following:
dynasty platinum shield master masterwork set

now,IC set masterwork EXACTLY the same enchant values with dynasty platinum shield master:

conclusion: IC MW > even dynasty platinum shield master MW, with both having EXACTLY the same enchant values.
