on interlude you might block a spell w/ shield, but since you play kamael its worthless ( or n0t? ) |

If u have 35 dex (4 from dye, 1 from set bonus for example), u should have 41% shield block rate WITH a lv6 bless shield. Though u probably won't block every second or third attack, mages' shots cannot be avoided via evasion or sg else, the shield can give you some surprise in blocking a few... |

i see, and what about using shield dagger vs dagger, evasion cant help vs mortal blow or deadly blow. i think. |

lol no shield block dont blocks blows but th evasion sux anyways ^^pw and aw have good evasion |

yes it blocks, it makes less dmg if u hit to shield... for example dwarf u will make less dmg from front (mortal blow) then from behind. i think daggers skills dont ignore shield def. |

I would not try it  but coreans have strange ideas sometimes...

Ok you did some mistakes around here. 1. offensive magic can be blocked, but not all. Hurricane, death spike, ice dagger can be blocked. Not just these. Just look at which spell triggers the pain animation. 2. dagger skills can be blocked. That's why it's not a bad idea to have a shield when you're going vs dagger. |
