am just curious who would win between these 2 char?

i know its how u play tha game, set it aside!

lets say they have same equips?

..who has greater skill than the other?

Well ... Shilien Knight is the most offensive tanker, but the Dark Avenger has got the best stun and he can summon Dark Panther who 's strong (sry for my english )

While you are waisting mana and hp on the pet :p the DA finnishes it.

Bealieve me u wont waste man time and p to the panther.It great atk but its hp and def really sux!!With 3 hit and one drain its dead..SK's cubcs as usefull to him us panther is usefull to a DA but.... u cant kill cubics.. :wink:

Well imo, The between SK and DA:
DA has easier PvE since he summons the panther.You may say that SK's have hex but the panther is hitting like an archer of equal lvl.So,it's a dmg dealing machine,especially if you use soulshots ( i wouldn't use ss for the cat for PvE,the mobs would hit it and it would die soon).
In mass pvp,SK is the best tank.Landing hexes, Lighting strikes,power brakes and slows..and with it's really great defence it will do the job propertly.
BUT in a 1 vs 1 pvp,i think there's no way a SK can win the DA's( that know how to play huh!!!! and LS won't land!!!)
Maybe the panther is not more than 1 drain and some hits but remember that a DA can stun the SK,who can be stunned really easily,and get a second summon....and the SK does not have many chances to interrupt it.
If the Ls lands....BB DA QQ!
So, in conclusion maybe it's a matter of luck....much more in interlude servers when a SK can use 2 times the LS while pvping with a tank ( too much time !!! )

5k HP on an unbuffed panther. 700 P def, 500 M def.

Fullbuffed it's 1.1k P def, 10k HP, and 750 M def.



You realize in C5, Lightning Strike is nerfed beyond belief? The land rate is greatly lowered, the effect time is greatly lowered.


I've been playing Dark Avengers for ages. The only SK I lost to was third class and I was level 69. It was an arena fight.

Since I have the luxury of large amounts of HP/CP, and sacrifice a little, I will ALWAYS open with Touch of Death (Cancel effect and CP is lowered to 10% for you, I sacrifice 1000 HP) by switching between an Anger War Axe, and War Axe Health. Even after that, I'll still have around 4000 HP and 2.7k CP. You'll be Canceled, and have no CP before the fight even begins.

So before you even deal 500 dmg to my panther, you're already half dead.

If you try opening with Touch of Death, you're essentially committing suicide. You're sacrificing 1000 HP, + lowering yourself to 70% before that. You'll have around 1.5k HP left and 100-150 CP, due to my own Touch.

At that point, it's a matter of how much health you can drain from my Panther, before I kill you.



If you would like more detailed description of a PvP example, feel free to ask. I'll write a more detailed example next time I visit these forums.

Dark passion just one Question.How could u be 69 lvl and have touch of death??I hought hell knight gets touch of death when he hits 78.And if we speak for 3d class SK has touch if death too and also gets shield bash(stuns and takes away target)Also SK has good casting speed for a tank and will do touch of death pretty faster than a DA.AS for the panther an 78 lvl hell knight will summon him very fast and will not need shield stun to summon it.And bealieve me it is 3 hits and one drain go on a pvp server and try it.Anyways u cant summon the panther each time the SK kills him...

well on L2 full SK rules and on L2j SK... its suks :(
