Lineage 2 Game PMfun Forum :: [SPS at Olys] Major Arcana for archers?

Hi, I'm a noble SPS in a low rates private server, and I have to ask for all those good players that there are around here some questions

I have my own DC Robe, Miracles +6 and good Jewels (Rings of Core and Queen Ant) and I pwn as hell almost all the other nobless.

But here is my question... it's about Major Arcana, it gives you resistance to stun in 50% more, and it's a lot... Actually I'm using Dc Robe with Miracles +6 without acumen... but sometimes a clanmate borrows me his Miracles with Acumen (leveling rate of the Soul Crystal is really low :/), so if I use Major Arcana with his SOM with Acumen it's the same that DC robe + Som without Acumen, isn't it?

The only way that archers have in my server to win me is stuning me... it hasn't much chances of success but, you know the best is prevent, right?

In fact I'll use both of the armors... for others nukers, daggers and some more DC Robe, but for classes like archers, tanks, who has that fucking Stun...

Help me with your advices please! Thanks a lot!

People see Major Arcana like a bad armor... It's not so bad at all!

Ignore him. He's playing 1000000000000000000x server, where one necro in dc robe owns the whole server. MA set is the best choice vs archers in oly. Stun resist is priority vs an archer. So is pdef and running speed. You shouldn't choose dc robe set, because: 1. lower pdef 2. you'll get stunned 3. your casts will be cancelled. Ma set isn't a bad armor at all. And btw get an am acu, antharas and zaken if you want oly.Get a baium and throw that core ring because it's overrated.

Yes, I'm working in the AM, yesterday failed at creation Today I'll start again the recept, thank you a lot Icarus! Can someone help me too? EDIT: Another thing too, the % of resistance of stun that the jewelry and armor give you, is accumulative? I mean, if I have a jewel with 20% resistance to stun and an armor with 50% resistante to stun, is it 70% resistance to stun? or How it works?

yes resistances "stack" btw we allready had a flamebox about MA vs DC so imo MA rox asses..

But ma set also gives +7 speed. Ma set should be better vs archers. I agree with kent, for oly the dc robe is great for sps, but not in this case. Vs an archer or tank, no.

Vs an archer or tank, no. yes but usualy you go with DC set , if theres no one to tell you your OP if it's archer then you still keep the DC on you and i prefer DC over MA , cast speed = gg

Maybe a maje set should work too, doesn't it? It doesn't give 2wit , but 15%cast speed .. Is a sps.. any + to cast speed is well welcomed. All 3 sets are good enough.. he only needs luck and some skills.

Well, ma set works better, because an archer gives high damage hits, and it will probably cancel your casts. not to mention that ma has slightly more pdef.

In fact I don't need the MA set because I pwn as hell all the enemies of my clan who have S equips and Tateossian Set and some other stuff, they can't with me because they're unhandle players, but I want to check how MA works, so... Do you think that 17% +M.Atk for the SPS compensates the loss of the 15% Cast Speed?
