Post subject:  So sick of SPS >.< Somebody help me
Somebody plz help me :cry: i'm so sick of lvling my char right now (spellsinger). currently at lvl 54.

y u ask? coz i cant seem to defeat any darkelf.. i've tried a lot of times. even with those of lower lvls.. always got beaten. HATE THEIR SILENCE SPELL!!! i cant seem to find a way to counter this tho >.< Mayb i lack the strategies.. or mayb SPS are juz hopeless :cry:

so for those of you who has the experience.. can u share them with me? wht skill or strategies can i use to be better at pvp? wht equipment should i use?

my current setup is as follows:
+3avadon robe set including +3avadon shield
+3 homun (SA - Acumen)
some c's and d's accessories

and wht dye should i use to improve my survivability?

But u are talking u cant beat just 1 clase, SH. Its hard to beat them since sleep has lwo cast.

But u can beat lot of clases cause u have good skill and casting really high.

Sps can interrupt a lot of time sph, coz of it's very high casting speed/dps.
If the sh casts silence on you just run away, your faster than any other mages. If the sh is buffed and you're not, then just hope cancel can help you.
And btw, "some c and D?! accessiories" C'mon, acessiories are the easiest things to get. Get atleast full c.
For dye, i use +4wit +4int +4con on every nuker, some others say that +4int +5wit is better.

unfortunately for me, i dont hv too much adena left bcoz i've spent most on buying and crafting my avadon set. but i will take note of it, thx.

i did try interupting some howlers tho, i had thought tht since auraflare is among the fastest spell, i would use it continuously to distrupt their spell, it didn't work to my advantage tho, partly becoz auraflare are weaker compared to the damage dealt by sph.

so, if say i can interrupt sph's spell, wht should be my strategy for this? wht spell would hv a high probability of interrupting sph's spell?

nuker vs nuker winner is not the ppl who intrerupt cast but the ppl who deal more damage and hit firts.... its very hard to deafeat a sh with a sps if sh attack you firts

I always use: Frost Dagger->Hydro Blast->Frost Dagger->Hydro Blast
With Dye + Wit, acumen weapon and set that gives cast. speed and most of SHs' tries of casting silence were interrupted.

But usually the winner is that nuker who attack first.

well i have a sps for long time now and i have experienced a lot of pvp's
i can tell that i am kind of addicted at sps
and my mind is that sps can beat sph with no big problems u should only use your mind and fast reacting when u make pvp's

lets say u are on the arena and u should make pvp with sph than

u know that u should start with surender to water ofc its very fast casting speed... than hydro for making serious dmg ( here u make the first spell because of better cast speed) than its ice dager again hydro after solar flare again hydro and ice dager the point here is to make as fast as u can more dmg to the enemy and interupt some if his skils with this kind of tactic sph's only chance is to silence you than he own u but if he does not do it believe me u will pwn his head

p.s. dont flame against my words its pointless this is only a post and i wont take any comments for

U should cancel him and then just atack wtih your magic :P
Dyes : +4 wit -4Men , + 4 int - 4 Men , +4 Con - 4str :P its for PVP only, dont use it on PVE cuz u will be out of mana :)

+1.I usually do just the same...You chanses to interrupt an enemy's spell are extremly high in that case.Also ice dagger has bleeding effect...

well get top c jews and shs won't be that kind of a prob. you are the best nuker to own em ( don't blab about necro i ownt em with sh 95% of the times and they had better equips :roll: ) . although if silence lands .... you ll get a teleport to village for some exp.you can try to slow him before he uses silence but he has slow eff 3 vs slow eff 2 so most times silence will own u .but if you cancel him he will have a tp to village . interuption won't be that succsesful , most nukers always have a pp along with them and he has a skill called concentration ... so just nuke him to hell and on higher lvl use ice vortex ( 90% chance of being winner ) but on the other hand he has wind vortex ... ah well it's just a matter of luck don't give up trying . as I said , it's all a matter of luck and how you play your char

our dude is only 54 lvl :P dont have vortexes

thx for the inputs. i will try to apply them in PVP. hopefully it will work for me. by the way, i hv juz gotten frozen shackles. been using at mobs, it said tht it reduces hp temporarily and also drain them. will this be useful in PVP?

i hv also got myself an ecliptic sword from blacksmith mammon and enhanced it to +4. Planning to add SA magic power to add damage to my hit. spells will be slower to cast, but i'm hoping tht getting a +5wit-5men will compensate for the slower casting speed. is this a good setup? i dont really know how to measure exactly how much +5wit will reduce casting speed or whether it is better then acumen benefit from homun.. so should i stick to speed casting (homun - acu) or power (eclip. sword SA magic power) in pvp?

pvp you need better cast spd. and i said ON HIGHER LVL USE VORTEXES....
m atk is best in pve

1. Get mental shield (it block silence)
2. use frost bolt (slow) and keep range 600+ (elves are faster than DE)
3. When SH casts silence spam spells on him to interput.

IMO good sps >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>> SH
