I can tell you upfront that elven characters will get the best results for pvp in general, whereas Dark Elf Characters will get the best results for PvE in general. 1) Opponent: Of course it always depends what opponent you are facing (eg Any Archer vs Tank --> TANK will always win). 2) Level: The level your character is plays a major role due to the skills you get(eg a 3rd Class TH will loose to a 3rd Class PW with Focus Death and Mirage, however a 2nd Class PW will lose to a 2nd class TH). 3) Buffs: It depends if you are pvping in a buffed or unbuffed state (eg Unbuffed GLAD vs SR --> GLAD wins, Fully Buffed --> SR wins) 4) Dyes: If you have dyes suited for pve (player vs environment) they might not be suited for pvp. For Fighters in PVP you usually do not go for STR but boost your CON. (eg: a TH (+4 STR -4CON) vs another same level TH (-4 STR +4CON) --> TH with (-4 STR +4 CON) win. This is because Dagger skills do not depend very much on STR; they do minimal more damage with STR boosted. 5) Armor, Jewelry, Weapon and Overenchantments: The armor set and weapon can make the difference in PVP (Eg if you are facing an opponent who has any kind of STUN -- any kind of Majestic Set will be very appropriate.. and so on) Furthermore, the Special Ability on your weapon and the enchantment play a major role too - obviously the more over enchanted items you have the better. 6) Your own experience: Here comes the factor of your own play style. In theory any kind of character can win - as you can see that support classes in oly become heroes, too. It depends how fast you react, how well you know your and your opponents character and skills and maybe luck. Hence whether you are pvping outside of town or in Olympiad all these factors depend. |
