I prefer IC better than Drac, but if you're gonna stay with it, then go for +5 STR +4 CON -9DEX coz drac doesn't decrease your dex...

blah to much talking and still some people claim that Dex is a good stat for Duelist lol . Wear IC , Light Armor is Light and it will be Light ( i hope you understand that i am trying to say ) and you can use +5 Str - Dex or just like Icarus sayd +5 Str / +4 Con - Dex . Why to pump a stat is allready low and not pumping something that is allready high , the higher it is the better the bonus it will be . Overall if you pump +5 Dex the bonus it's usless compared to the one by Str or Con . As for the UE in CT 1 it's not that horrible , Duelist will still rape daggers ... daggers have UE for 30 sec but vs a dagger it's like haveing UE all the timp . We don't play C2 anymore , blows miss not to mention if you are Adv ...

OMG -8 Str on Duelist ?? blah this forum was full of retards and it will allways be .. at 47 Str glads get a +27% Skill Crit Chance , so why the hell would i lower my Str ? damn i'm out of here .. go on fucking l2Guru and see Diego Vargas posts about Duelist .. a waste of my time here .. too bad that there are few nice people

Yeah, well personally I would for -9 DEX even with IC, you're not gonna catch any1 anyway... And yeah you gotta love Diego the calculator =D

I totally agree, that duelist MUST have +4str (minimum) for the skill crit rate.

So you can do +str-con/+str-dex/+str-dex&con combo.
If you have frint (rehuse) baium (atk-spd) or both you can go -8-9dex.

You will have LOTS of HP and CP, you will be nuking and if you need to catch someone=sonic move.

Read better when i m writing icarus, i said that with exp dyes (-8 con) u will get stunned easily, not with pvp setup. Also , u cant use war frenzy when u exp.

About con i m taking into considaration mass pvp too, where maybe u will be the last man standing because noone target a gladi at the begining. High hp help u survive a little more

Finnaly, about the dex thing, in CT1 with evation u can evade skills too. You dont want to use TSS to a dagger and see tha ur skill has failed, right?

About ripose stance, its an important skill, but we talk about dyes here

I didn't played alot with gladyes but some of my friends did and yes -9dex isn't a bad move afterall, in fact +5STR +4CON or +4STR+4CON+4WIT really makes the effort.

Maxing STR stat grants you MORE CRITICAL RATE FOR PHYSICAL SKILLS.

So if you have 43% of criting a triple sonic slash that means 43% of killing the target with one skill. (most robes and lights)


Drac set its not "lol" it gives a nice boost on dps and its good for using nukes, but its not a set that should be used with those dyes, and its better for grind.
