elfen lied is a small anime, not many episodes, but the story is just awsome.....and yeah lol it's brutal....it's like blood all over the place, heads taken off, etc, + blood, etc :D :D but is very cool try it cause probably you will like it :wink: :wink:

LOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOL but if you like higurashi i think you will like elfen lied.....the monsters that kill loadz of people with invisible super big and strong arms are very coll and beutifull.....basically the monsters are normal girls with little cute horns :D :D

Higurashi is based on a virus named oyashiro sama's curse that is again named as the "berzerker" which makes feelings imba. Means if someone's sad, he/she can't stop crying, even would kill her/himself, if someone's a little angry, she/he starts to kill people and stuff.
So it's not only based on brutality, that's why I continued watching it:D

Pure brutality does not interest me, I'm an optimist, happy fella:D

Meanwhile i've watched Elfenlied and i must say it was quite enjoyable, did they terminate the project halfway or something?
I feel like there should be some more.
