I have tried many f2p MMORPGS too , and as GS said they all sux, the only one thats attracts me a little is Anarchy online, is free to play , is Sci Fi based, and a little old, but is really interesting, not at the L2 level , but it can help u to wait till GOD f2p be launched

One thing to know about Guild Wars 2 is that you'll only have to buy the game which will cost around ~ 50€ and the future expansions.

Another game of which I might think can be TERA online but that only after they will clearly answer to the 10Q from their FAQ http://tera-europe.com/en/faq.html Also they are using monthly fee for this game so I'll see what's up with it later.

As for free mmorpg, my bored friends are killing their time on Vindictus EU some hack'n'slash aim target with kinda cool graphics I must say

And yes.. the coming soon Diablo III :D

Please continue to share if you guys found something which worth to be played.
And.. SWTOR I don't know, it's not my style.

As far as RPG goes, vindictus is ur best bet, although its nothing like L2.

I have a suggestion, just found this rly fun team game called King Arthur's Gold. Its still in alpha, and its free to play (theres a "premium" account system which will give u better classes, items, etc when the game releases). U can find it here http://kag2d.com/. Join a server and rock on

Aion pwnz. Really.
It is cool if you don't mind to be restricted in a dozen different ways at the same fucking time.

I really liked Aion until I realized, that you can NOT fly anywhere you want at anytime you want.
PvP works actually pretty well though and all the classes are very nice.
Templar and Chanter FTW :D
