K, I'm sure each and everyone of you try these from time to time and often get amazed by them. They are called "brain teasers" and as hard as they look like, as fun they are to solve.
(P.s : Hope I'm not the only "brainiac" around here, or this topic would make me look nerdy).

So here goes nothing :

You saw a shirt for $97. You didn’t have the cash, so you borrowed $50 from your mom and $50 from your dad = $100. You bought the shirt, and had $3 change. You gave your dad $1 and your mom $1 and kept the other $1 for yourself. Now you owe your mum $49 and your dad $49. 49+49 = 98 + your $1 = 99. Where is the missing $1?

Try solve it :D

You after that tie one to a fisshing hock.
How many magnets do you have in total?

You shouldn't google it, it's not fair.
I find them funny. Actually, any stuff that blows my mind is interesting for me. I don't love maths especially, but when it comes about tricky stuff, I like them.
And yea, troll physics rullz.

Yeah, I knew another one with paranthesis and multiplication. Something like:

(1+3) x 6 : 2 = ?

Easy way to trick people. Some of you will simply make the multiplication first, which is 6 + 18 : 2 = 6 + 9 = 15. That's WRONG.
The correct solution is 4 x 6 : 2 = 24 : 2 = 12.

Many people don't know that paranthesis have the same level of order as multiplication and division. Or, some people do know, but they think that multiplication and division (under the same side of equals) are commutative, like addition and subtraction are. They're not.

On some forums the result as as bad as 50:50 regarding the correctness of the exercise. That's just to prove how many people lack the fundamentals of mathematics. I'm not a maths brainiac. I can't put my finger on maths because I've been daydreaming instead of studying at high-school. But this is logical.
