The only reason i can come up with is: I just like playing games. I started on a console and the moved to my first PC P1 @ 100Mhz with 4 Mb EDORam and 560 MB HDD (I have 1 Gb on the phone now ). I that time i always had a portable game like tetris or poker with me. Now i play on my phone (N73), on my PSP and on my computer. I like mmorpg, but i miss the single player games because everyone is smart and tough behind a computer screen. But i guess nerds and ppl with no social life have to be cool somewhere so they have the virtual world.

I play computer games because it's another side of creativity and experience.
Some people have their plans 'dude it's vacation let's get wasted'. I say no... Is it really that fun to smoke like a chicken and drink like a pig? I prefer going out with a girl for example, or wasting my time making fun of people in a radius of 10 meters.

Back to the subject... Even if some ignore this side, it's not a bad side.


Offt: have you guys seen those tests about computer games? People actually feel more relaxed and are less probable to overreact after playing computer games.
Ofc, it highly depends on the type of information received. If you're pvp-ing and somebody is flaming you near his powerful clanmates, you are more probable to crack somebody's head. Like the last days. 4 people on l2gold in loa end. One archer flaming, others waiting for me to react. Stupidity... After flaming for 5 minutes they get bored, one of them still flame and when the others aren't attentive you crack a head and run.

and what the stupid real life gives you? you can get a job , a girl , alot of money a new car and the njust die..... whats the point? i really starting to think that real life dont have much diferent from mmorpgs... you just do the same stuff everyday for nothing

u do it for money and girl. and believe me, drifting or so, gives u much more fun then killing elpy ^^.

I asked myself this question about a week ago and i didn't think that the positive sides was better then the negative. That's why i've decided to try to remove console and pc games from my life. This means that i'll have to say good bye to some really good friends that i've met through lineage and a lot of other games. The reason was that even if i meet someone that i've been talking to for 4-5 hours per day to for a year, i still can't trust him/her unless i've talked to them face to face. Say what u want, but that's not what i call friends =(

Talking through msn or lineage isn't real life, and it will never be the same..
