I've not played Berserker much, but the Tyrant is very adaptive and versatile, so if you want something that can be effective in different situations and is fun to play, I suggest a Tyrant. Berserkers (or Doombringers rather) are mostly rush impacting enemies around them because they can't really take on much damage and survive long in a direct fight (once their UD wears off).

Depends what kind of play style you're looking for. With the right kind of build the Tyrant rocks and does not rely on landing rates or enemies ignoring it to be consistent over a longer battle.

In one on one GK vs. DB is rather equally matched, so for open PvP it obviously depends on other factors like who are you enemies, what is your support and party, the location, etc.

1vs1, DB wins

With Disarm, tyrant is doomed. If he's stunned, he can't use skills and etc. He's slow and DB is fast, so rush more effect. DB UD is good, but I think DB is better than GK.

as kisi said, gf with lolstuns, loldebuffs and loldisarm on ripostance
not to mention, a tyrant is not a fragile char like most in game
it has high hp and with ogre high def, even if one disarm lands that's hardly going to hurt
the stun tactic won't hurt either since there is for one high con, two: fortitude, three: war frenzy, four: ripose, five: barrier for the first skill spams
a tyrant got a high chance of killing a berz, don't underestimate it
the tyrant doesn't rly have weaknesses, but it's not OP either, it was always balanced

in which i would say that if u're a skilled/experienced player, u should go for berzerker
if u don't want to walk on the side of the paper, go for tyrant
either way, you can't go wrong
