Post subject:  New Dex Epilogue Server
As advertised on lineage.ro DEX will be opening a Gracia Epilogue 10x Server.
But wich files are going to use ?

L2j ?
L2DC ?
Russian Files ?

Here is the quote:

It won't be L2DC. It will use L2J, same files as current Gigarent server.

l2j - free java for noobs
l2dc - custom java server.

Last time i checked on test server it was pretty bad so i guess they just started the project its more free l2j then custom l2j atm


anyways best custom l2j= l2dc or the one asterios uses :)

The fact is that this new x10 server will kill Wrath.

Dex is already half killed. Guess what server new Dex network players will chose in the future? Dex and Wrath or Arion and new10x?
Dex and Wrath are already dieing slowly.

you are all ignoring the fact that the new 10x will be l2j and wont share same login with dex
so if something goes wrong or they add donations cataling can say that its not his fault since the server never belonged to dex network ;o (roxy and fury anyone?)

ofc new ppl will chose arion and x10 instead of 3y old dex/wrath

but still dex/wrath are not dead, some ppl leave but they are coming back from rpg ;p

well seems like das cataling seems to change opinion more then underpants but well still l2j is l2j and i wouldnt call the thing that was on test serve better then free avaible l2j files
( lag back if you had mobs in target while running around them, castle walls.. etc) and since i cant imagine that they have as many ppl working on their files as for example the l2dc team has i doubt it will be as good in the near future.
So imo not a real threat for wrath or dex

* FUTURE steps for our network in the next period are:

1. step 1 - our datacenter get the new Gigabit bandwith line
2. step 2 - Dex/Wrath will move to our datacenter to solve the issue with bandwidth usage during sieges,mass pvp
3. step 3 - new STANDARD Alone(won't share same login) Gracia Epilogue server 10x will start ; server cap 4000 w/o any problems during any mass pvp,sieges etc
4. step 4 - dex/wrath move to gracia final
