Dunno why they waste their time with that crap 2j server Almost no one reports bugs They made adena rates 1x Even though geodata is supposed to be fixed we see how good that worked Maybe they should open up the new server instead |

to be honest i dont know why catali is paying attention to that shitty l2j... he is only destroying his server's reputation with that shit.... ppl start to believe that catalin will use l2j files info to code "l2off" files based on those :s if its true - it will be beggining of the end of dex.... |

what makes me worry more then that is that gigarent.it changed from hellbound to that epilouge l2j They completly abandoned hellbound  For those who dont know gigarent had same files as dex and they got the patch/fix notes always before dex Ppl where saying that the admin andrea was doing all the additional fixes on the extender (la2guard) and that he would pass it to catalin Dont know if its true so but if it is its a very bad sign if he should stop working on the hellbound |

They buy them, don't code them. So obviously, gigarent purchases and implements the updates from nextdev sooner than Dex. You can look for nextdev changelog. Implementing stats on L2Off using L2j as source is happening since some years, its nothing new. Translating your words according to what you don't know (everything), L2Off was dead before its got born and L2j is the best (and the only option). Obviously Dex can't buy or steal rpg-club files and since they promissed a GF server, they look on the next (best?) alternative, L2J. Unfortunately, they have no team behind them and will implement an L2j server, same way kiddos do: Grab nightly from l2jserver.com, Install MySQL and Java change some configs and voila! The result? When problems appear (which happens always with any server software) they will QQ at L2j forums for assistance. In the case of L2Off they have nextdev to support them, which are paid for that. In the case of L2j they have just L2j community which is not paid/ obligated/ whatever to provide accurate and fast support to a big server. So if they want to use L2j, they will just need an army of retail players, at least 10 professional java coders and a lot of reading. I doubt they will. The problem is not L2j or not L2j or how crap or superb is L2j. The problem is the Administration to have the know-how regarding L2j and unfortunately this is something they have to fight for, can't get bought. |
