I loved IL too.
The only problem with IL was:
Necro, TH, HE, Gladiator
They were OP. You have seen them everywhere and you did really have no chance against them.

The thing i loved in IL, that it didn't really matter what class you played. You made a subclass and you could do anything that a guy with the same main class could (except oly ofc)

You had the chance to be successfull as an orc archer or a dwarven mage...
Those were good times.

And I say, my only problem with newer chronicles is that subclass levels are restricted...

Necro was at least possible to kill, and kill slh or pala in 1v1 ;]
or even 3v1 is still hard, when vs necro 2 were enough

Yes yes, i remember that too.
Everyone played necro, and they massacred full parties.
That was the problem with c4-IL

Old school ofc.

C4 was imo the chronicle that offered the best gameplay, seriously. Probably because the c4 files got leaked and every private server had them. Golden times really. I remember the damage output of a buffed GH. Hot damn! Or the spellsinger. Sleep nuke sleep nuke xD
C5 was by far the most balanced chronicle (maybe except the necro, but that's been op since it appeared). The glad got its boost, the tyrant got its boost, the daggers got their boost, and the mages fell in line with the others. The archers didn't get any real shit tho. But it was great.

Interlude was an imbalanced chronicle, duelists and tyrants owning everything, but it was still good compared to today's freya imo.
Kamael was.. It's an incomplete chronicle, but they fixed it up very soon with hellbound, the second most balanced chronicle after C5. Now what I'm guessing that happened: people started leaving back in IL because of imbalances, so they launched this new expansion with a new race to keep people going. Although the kamael were extremely weak, for those who played. They were really horrible pvpers! Then some time after, players realised they suck so they launched hellbound. Very smart strategy imo. One thing great about kamael: it fixed the SH with empowering echo. Was a major breakthrough.

So, C5 and Hellbound were the most balanced chronicles imo.
And if I were to choose: C5>C4>Hellbound>Interlude>Kamalol

HB was nukers' era once again :) kamael race wasnt weak, it just didnt work as it should on buggy private servers :)

I was playing retail when kamael got released. They were extremely weak. The berserker was promising, but still weak compared to other classes.

Old times for me,i wont tell anything i just agree with IdoL and Icarus.
But i want to adjust sth..We're saying c4/c5/c6 were good times, having fun etc but lets be honest..even if we get an pro c6 server we wont have the ame feeling as in past.We already know the game, tactics and after 3 months we will be at endgame.

Yeah it's true. I'd give away anything to jump back 5 years ago when I started playing.
