Why do we consider our project unique?

We observe that lots of people started to treat MMORPGs just like any other multiplayer games. Our attitude is different. Every evening, we first fire our voice communicators, say "hello", and only then start Lineage clients. We're having great time playing and chatting about Lineage and non-Lineage things.

Ever experienced a non-computer RPG sesssion with friends? A game being a central part, surrounded by people meeting, talking, drinking hectoliters of coffee, playing till dawn?

This is the kind of community we would like to propose to you!

Where do we play?

In short: AstralWorld, GE x10 retail-like server. (Read my review!)

In long: We have lots of patience and determination in order to fulfill our goal of establishing an amazing community to have great fun with. That's why we were not afraid of starting on a little-low populated, half-year old server, just because we believe it's very good one, and suits our needs best!

It's easiest to join a big, long-time clan, on an already well-developed server. But we don't take easy ways. We prefer the feeling of satisfaction, helping AstralWorld to grow, becoming part of its history, growing clan by ourselves, step by step, day by day. That's how we are! (-;

A little bump on the topic, but also some kind of report on how our idea worked out!

Starting a clan which primary goal isn't to rush towards being best is always risky. Will people like the idea? Will the community be tight enough? Will we find the right balance between gaming itself, and having fun of it? Won't we be crushed by other, "zerg" oriented clans? Lots of doubts. But...

It works! When writing this, we're a clan level 7 now, with clan skills, proud owners of Schuttgart castle and Schuttgart/Rune/Goddard territories. We meet every evening on Mumble, share how our day looked like, chat about weather and stuff... But we are also capable of efficient and smooth raid-runs, facing better geared clans in pvp, and - most importantly - having fun out of this!

I'm really proud we managed to create a community of what I believe can be called friends. A community friendly to pro-players (because we have a good knowledge of the game too!), but also to casual gamers ("hey man, good to see you again, how were your exams?"). A community that rejects flaming, is capable of saying "thanks for pvp, our dear opponents, it was fun!" even if we loose to a party of heroes, a community which rushes towards a clan member who shouts "hey, please help me level a soul crystal, blacksmith is only until tomorrow".

And there is still lot to do for us. Dark Cloud Mansion, Crystal Caverns, Hellbound leveling, epic raids, new S80 spots and quests... Lineage is definitely not dead, experience all the new opportunities it's giving, together with us!

Because of various reasons, we left Astral World. It's not like we're a server hoppers - we're not, we hate starting all over, but well... Life is life. Nothing lost, as new opportunities arise...
