1 Year of developing after CBT AND OBT stages and you can get millions of adena after 2 weeks of launch

GMs claim they deleted all adena "but" the adena used on players shop is not deleted because those items are "legit"

Only God know how many exploited adena the server has, specially if you have to trust the word of a GMs that has been lying the community since 2019 on their other fucked up server "origins"

This bug has been on the game since 1 day, you just need to be LVL 40 and go to oren shop and click on shadow equipment, imagine how many people exploited this since theres people 40+ since 3rd day of launch......

Keep farming lvl 12 elfs while people are getting everything easy by exploits you fools.

Holy! That's insane :D Me and my bro we're playing there right now (both around 21-22 lvl) and we couldn't quite figure out how come there are either people who a) have no-grade or lowest D-grade equipment or b) top D equip, like there was no between. Now we know :mrgreen: Imagine not using soulshots because you're trying to break even with Adena and then there's someone who gets couple million helicopter money :D

I'm curious - if someone got this money and then bought something off the NPC shop, did those items get deleted? You say items from "player shops" don't get deleted - so someone could have bought out everything and now sit on full warehouse? And what if someone bought DC/CC off of players and used to buy item from luxury store in Giran? :?

what an irony he just banned me for auto-clicker accusations. Gm came to me while I was backstabbing monsters manually from behind. I believe their gm staff has never played l2. No clicker is able to do such actions yet he insta ban me, because a member of their party is either gm girlfriend or gm and snitched me for leeching 2 total minutes of exp while I was carrying their ass since they had zero dmg...Probably 40-50% of people I ve met in-game playing with clicker and it's pretty obvious. Yet I see 1-2 bans for clickers per day.
This is the second ban I have received from any server in my life, and both bans happened in Reborn. The first ban was for Kek RMT Promoting in their essence server.
I was a fool to join their server for a second time.

What's wrong with the files though? I've been playing on the Signature for a few days and haven't encountered any issues. One thing that bothered me is that you can't jump on the steep surfaces (like when trying to pass the mountains to save on teleports), but I am not sure if this is a sign of good files or bad ones :mrgreen:

Its not pointless. What would be pointless is, telling those sheep about an exploit they missed. A true L2 player will know within 5 to 10 minutes the kind of server they are playing on.

I think GoDs3nD has a post where you can tell if you are playing Official or Java server. I think it was him, or I read it someplace else. one way I remember was testing the geodata.

Most of the time just read the forums and you get a good idea.

Posting where these brain dead people play is simply a waste of time.

At least here, people who appreciate the game will know. :)

Although I completely agree that the adena bug/exploit was a huge bug/fail considering the amount of time they had to properly test everything, I don't fully agree with the other statements.

Reborn is probably one of the only few servers where you have international community and a decent amount of population. Origins (which so many ppl critisize) is up and running since 2019 and has over 1k+ online (w/o) dualbox at any single moment. How is this a fail server ? Also, that is with dualbox being disallowed and bannable. Signature is also highly populated and will most likely operate for 2-3 years at least. The other high rate servers are seasonable and are comparable with what dex do. So to each his own preference.

And how is the community bad if many famous retail players choose to play there ?

Admins could be rather unprofessional and don't always take critique well, but overall I think there are not many other better choices to pick from nowadays.

Official servers are not worth and p2w. Private servers are shit and are being wiped and restarted every few months just to grab money from oblivious newstarters.

At least on reborn you have the stability that you can play for several years without the server being wiped. Yes, there are fails along the way, but overall once again - I don't see any better options where community is not 95% brazilians or russians. No dualbox is a cool feature also.

Files I can't comment but do not confuse the client with the files. These are two entirely different things. Ppl commenting files without having a clue and stating they are playing GF instead of C4 are more than likely oblivious. Same with the banned players who are "clean"" and got banned without a reason.

Anyhow, everyone has their own opinion. I've been following pmfun since 2008+ but only just created an account. Call me a troll if u wish but just wanted to also state my opinon. Don't like when ppl commenting on a topic without being well acquinted with it. Have a nice day.

When we talk about "files," we are talking about the actual server files, not the client itself. The difference is like a night and day when you go play on a server with good files like ElmoreLab. You can pretty much feel it the moment you start moving in the game.

I don't think anyone is saying that Reborn is a failure in terms of numbers. It's actually one of the most successful modern private servers we have seen. People are more questioning why that is when the admins are terrible and the files are shit. Why was the server able to attract the international community when other servers with much more quality haven't been able to?

Port to Hunters
Walk up the ramp leading to EV.
If you get stuck going up the ramp -> Java

If the mobs spawn in the same spot -> Java

But like someone said, if you have played retail since 2004, played a crap load of private servers and have ran your own servers, you'll know. IMMEDIATELY. lol

I think it is more about the lucky timing of the opening, right before covid as well as the frequent bans for dualboxing/rmt. This is what made it a success story. Even if the admins make questionable decisions very oftern, at least server is mostly "clean" from cheaters, they get punished. Many other servers have the files, if not even better files and everything but admins don't have the integrity and sell items to players/pay players to play at their servers which pretty much makes them seasonable.
