We were originally heavily against it. The whole concept felt wrong. But after trying it out and seeing how it functions, we designed a plan to keep it... kind of revolving the whole server around it. We decided to keep it because we offer something unique that changes the entire dynamic.

In L2Cruma, when players PvP or PK you, you lose a percentage of the farmed items you've accumulated since you have visited a peace zone. This transforms AutoPlay from a passive, risk-free activity into something you actually need to monitor and defend. Your character might be farming automatically, but you're still invested because other players can show up and take your drops. It creates constant tension in the farm zones and rewards active presence.

We made a server that is fundamentally about PvP but requires farm to sustain your PvP activities... and most people don't wanna farm in a PvP server. They want the action, not the grind. AutoPlay is a big excuse we give them so they stop being lazy and go out and farm, becoming a target for others... all of that without the effort of farming, while the PvP remains meaningful and contested. You're now fighting for actual items that someone else farmed.

Hi there, nice to see you back in this thread :) Oh back its glory days it was a wild west. I remember everyone was arguing about everything. Post count was like a status thing so people were spamming a lot. I specifically remember this guy "Euphoria" was especially prolific in the spamming part, he ended up accumulating over 10k posts. He and GoDs3nD had a bit of beef going on and GoDs3nD (formerly a mod) banhammered Euphoria, literally deleting all his posts. Granted, significant amount of Euphoria's posts were spams but still, I remember even back then it was kinda sad that part of the forum history vanished... But really people talked about anything, related or unrelated to L2, there was no discord or really any relevant equivalent to it back then, so people mostly hanged out on forums :)
