Hellbound/Interlude/Gracia Final

I'm confused as what server to play on and what confuses me most is the different expansions that the different servers are offering.

Why are servers offering Hellbound and Interlude when Gracia is the latest content? What patch content is the best to play on then?

You can also help me ultimately solve my problem by telling what simply is the best L2 server right now, and please tell me why (i'm looking for established servers with skills and quests working as they should [and please refrain from wisecrack comments telling me to go to retail]).

Gracia Final is probably the most balanced of all the Chronicles.

Those who insist that Interlude/HB are the best are typically those who can't be bothered to try to learn new gameplay techniques as things have evolved.

But most people judge Gracia Final, not from retail, but rather from most of the shitty private servers they've played on. Vesper and S80 aren't overpowered. What makes them overpowered is everyone having full skills from forgotten scrolls, full buffs at all times, and +16 or higher on everything. The game wasn't designed for people to be running around in +16 vesper. Nor was it designed for everyone to have +30 skill enchants on everything.

People just need to stop playing on shitty servers really. There are only a handful of good ones out there.

hellbound sux; interlude is one of the best i played even if played it for a small period ; gracia final is nicer cuz its flashy , i hate the enchantment system , changes a lot the way of pvping , and same goes for attribute system .

What are they?? Please, please tell me the private servers that are really good with Gracia Final.

well as in comunity its zeus and raidfight; as in quality of sv files rpg-club (from what ive seen anw) ; and kinda those only ... duno any others with good features and good poppulation.

wanna know what off servers are decent out there? azure cuz its c5 and old and the buggy hellbound on dex and bfde; abbys and frintezza are using off files and they are an even bigger mess; also prolly u never tryed them so i'll rest my case . Keep spamming ur non sense , u are very good at doing that.

Well, obviously you know which server I'm currently working for (see sig). In the end, it's up to you to decide which server is worth your time. I will save you some time and give you some heads up about a few...

L2Inc - Corrupt staff, has wiped multiple times due to the amount of corruption (and that's only because certain corrupt gms were caught, there's still 2 that I know of on his staff that haven't been caught). nBd is one of the head developers on the core project yet can't keep his own servers updated. Not only that but he tends to have more exploits and bugs than most other servers.

L2Elite - This used to be a great server back in the day. But the donations ruined it (don't expect to pvp unless you donate or farm your ass off to be able to trade items for donator items). Also about a year and a half ago a lot of the north american and western european players left. So you better learn spanish if you want to play there.

L2Evo - After they were exploited hardcore, the wiped, made up a story about needing 3,000 euro for a anti-bot/phx system, then came back online. Shortly later it seems they're still hackable and people are hard at work trying to bypass their protections simply because the admin raised a challenge to them. So I wouldn't even bother with them at this point considering how things are going. Not only that but the admin seems a bit of a douche (seriously... 3,000 euro for a protection system, lol, awesome way to scam the players).

L2 Azure/Azure Gaming - Corrupt staff. Constantly interfering with gameplay by showing favoritism to certain clans. They impose artifical player caps on the servers to force players to donate just so they can login if the server is full. So many donations there they've actually set up a really smart system in terms of how to make the most money. You don't think much about spending a few dollars for little things until you step back and look and go "oh wow, I can't believe I've already spent $50". But mostly the worst I hear about them is their staff corruption. I've heard this from players and from an ex-gm there. So be wary.
