I'm not necessarily a fan of Azure, but I am starting there today and will slowly lvl for fun. Why? Because it reminds me closest to retail and when I actually had fun playing on retail way back in C1. The amount of people and NO DUAL BOX on Celes is unreal for a private server and to see any server try to open over the next 3-4 months is probably not a very smart move.

I'm just trying to help those who may possibly be working on a server, I would just hold off for awhile.

Also those that seriously try to hate on Azure, seriously.. you just need to stop using the "C5 no update" excuse, because its obviously not working. The facts are in game to prove any of you wrong. I'm saying this because well it makes you, and if you represent a different server look ignorant.

I'm sure people are trying hard to hate azure, i mean command the server is a good c4 moded to c5 and is full of nice features, they are just taking time to finish the server so it can be more stable than retail was. Ncsoft coded the c5 clan system too fast so it was all buggy and thats why azure is taking time cause they want to make sure to give the best to their people

Azure is what it is and won't change as I don't care. As we the rest don't care. One more port about Azure as there are many topics about it. We have to admit that Azure is strong and has a lot of people.

But we have also to admit that the opening of their new server was a total disaster. Why? Because they knew that server will crash and kick people and not being able to hold all those people. If they didn't knew this they are totally retarted and they shouldn't even hold a PC. So I want to believe they knew that they couldn't hold so many people on start. What I can't understand is why they let this happen... Why they just didn't hold the slots limits down to a logical level and increase it every X hours depending on the rush. The only logical explanation is that they did this on purpose so people believe that was really a lot of people and make them see that was a lot of people. If nothing would happen and 10.000 players online would join (I just say an impossible number as those was heard) without any crash, lag, d/c no one would understand it has been 10.000 online. Which still looks retarted to me (but far less than the "I didn't expect it" case).

Anyway, seems that Azure is amazing for one and only reason. The most important me ever for a server: Community. I see players here that support so strong their server even there was stability problems, incomplete features, bugs etc. This is amazing. I mean it. I wish I had community like this on my servers. I work more than the Azure team but I still hear complains.

Anyway, still this topic is meaningless. I hope more server will appear and more will stay open. We need good servers. Good servers will mean better trust to the private servers, there is none currently. Personally I prefer 10 servers with 600 online than 1 server with 6000 online.
