INTRO

Hello community!

My nick is Ahri and i am the HGM of L2Odyssey, and i am proud to announce our project. The project started this summer and it is currently in the final stages of development as we started the final wave of internal testing some days ago. Based on reports from our testers we are really happy how everything is going and almost ready for the next step.

We decided there is going to be a closed beta, this means only certain players will have access to the game servers. We are serious about our development process and expect the same thing from our testers. The testing will focus on different parts of the gameplay (example Leveling,Raids etc..), and every tester needs to put his feedback on the forums. A tester can lose the closed beta access if our team decides he is not committed to the tasks.

Closed beta will start on October 25th at 18:00h (GMT +2). Anyone interested in participating in the event can send us a facebook message containing a valid e-mail address. Keep in mind we will only be handing out 50 closed beta keys so be sure to apply for one as soon as possible!



CUSTOM MADE

* Everyone starts with Full no-grade gear and soulshots
* Titanium armors: 3 different sets you can choose from. Also, we added a feature that alows you to upgrade your Titanium sets into which ever style you prefere (3x Attack Tier sets and 3x Deffense Tier sets)
* Odyssey weapons: weapons that are upgraded from normal S - grade weapons. During the upgrade, the enchantment you have on your weapon is saved!
* Tattoos with 3 levels of upgrade (giving HP/MP/CP and speed)
* Core Ring that becomes "Mage Ring" giving boosted stats for mages (balanced with fighter's "Ant Queen")
* Orfen Earring becomes really wanted piece
* Olympiad will be held weekly, starting 7 days after the intial server opening. It will be limited to specal gear for olympiad only! (Everyone will be equal.)
* 10x Lineage2Odyssey Raid Bosses (Full droplists can be found on forum)
* Epic Aden castle siege (improved AI. Guards are now much smarter and a bit stronger). Weekly rewards include:
- 1x Titanium set
- 2x 2 bilion adena 5x 100% enchant scrolls (2 Weap., 3 Arm.)
-1x Special access to one of the standard Grand Bosses for clan members. The Grand Boss is choosen randomly with the following rates (Valakas - 8%, Antharas - 12%, Baium - 15%, Zaken - 15%, Ant Queen - 15%, Orfen - 15% and Core - 20%)
- keep on mind that these bosses are considered a BONUS so they don't affect normal Raid Boss spawns


CUSTOM ZONES

* Elven Ruins (farming and leveling 76+)
* Elven Fortress (farming and leveling 76+)
* MOS (party farming and leveling 76+)( Also, 10 costum Odyssey Raid Bosses can be found here)
* Antharas lair (boosted drops and XP)
* Custom chaotic zone with 3 teleport spots
* Grand raid bosses chaotic zones (every grand boss has this feature)

SHOPPING AREAS

* Giran Castle town as a main town
* Rune Town as refreshment town

OTHER IMPORTANT FEATURES

* Global gatekeeper (free)
* Class Changer NPC
* GM Shop
* NPC buffer(buff duration is set to 1 hour)
* COV, POF, POW, Magnus and related buffs are set to 5 minutes and they can not be obtained from the NPC buffer
* Cat and Pony buffs are set to 2 minutes and they can not be obtained from the NPC buffer
* Many planed events (PVP, Clan, Raid events) - Less farm more fight for your goals - more info soon:D

Hello again,

I want to share some events and thoughts behind them that we've implemented on our server.

We believe that Lineage 2 Interlude is considered a good MMO so we want to bring all the good features it has to offer, to you. We think that Lineage is much more than farming,
but we also think that there needs to be a difference amongst players who try real hard and those who just want to have everything handed to them. With this in mind we tried to
create that difference by reducing the time needed to farm up your gear by giving you the chance to get that gear with different events! Keep in mind that whoever wishes to farm
for his gear can do so, but those who don't, can maybe find a chance to get that gear by participating in these events!

As you can see above, on this server we don't focus on farming, instead we wish to give you the chance to enjoy all fun events such as castle sieges, massive PvP events, clan wars,
etc., by giving you the opportunity to get good gear in different ways, depending on your preferred game-style.

So, bellow are the event that we are going to have on our server. This isn't the final list and we might change some of the events depending on the amount of people that participate in them.

Events:

1. Raid event
- 1 raid from The Grand Boss and Custom Odyssey Bosses pool is chosen randomly
- this event will be announced a week in advance
- Raid boss will be spawned in the custom chaotic zone which we will make reachable only from a special teleport spawned right before the event start
- once the event starts the teleporter is gone and you can not return
- random mini events can occur in the raid event
- grand raids will NOT be available the first week

2. Clan hall event
- Aden and Giran clan halls are not going to be available from the auctioneer (the rest clan halls remain normal)
- Aden and Giran clan halls will be set as rewards for the winner of 9 vs. 9 pvp events (clan vs. clan)
- Aden and Giran clan halls will reset after 1 month and there will be another 9 vs. 9 pvp event (clan vs. clan) where a new owner of these clan halls will be decided (clan that was the previous owner of
these clan halls CAN become owner again)

3. Trial of Champions
- once you get your Titanium set (1st. edition) you can UPGRADE it to an "Offensive" or "Defensive" set by participating in this event
- Trial of Champions is a chain of events where, if you finish the event, you get the chance to upgrade your set
- the Trial is not meant for every player to survive
- Trials will occur ONCE a week
- Trial starts when the first boss randomly spawns somewhere on the map (somewhere easily reachable). Interested parties must gather and kill the boss in order to advance to the second boss.
After the first raid boss is killed, a GK will spawn and teleport everyone who survived to the next boss. There will be a total of 4 raid bosses after which, everyone who survived, will be rewarded
with an "Offensive" or "Defensive" Titanium sets.

4. "Hero" 1 vs. 1 PvP event
- Heroes will be given the chance to fight amongst each other to determine who is the best on the server!
- The winner will we rewarded with PvP-GOD Hero Weapon + 16 (with 2 extra stats) and a lot of extra CP!
- the event will start after the heroes for the week have been determined
- the event will start approximately 1 day after the Olympiad had finished

5. Random events
- find a GM (somewhere on the map). Hints will be posted on the forum!
- Strider race! (it's self explanatory)
