gl with server, i doubt you will have much success with it, since it's java and interlude witch is little hardcore with no vit/no pailakas, and stuff, and you said basicaly 2box/pc(1box dosen't count), wich I personally don't like, however dosen't matter. May I suggest simply writing 2box/pc, since offline shop dosen't count, and to write 1main/1buffer, is pointless, I might aswell play "2 mains", or "no buffer" :) confusing info to specify.

Hi,

Where did you read its interlude? The subject says its H5 meaning High 5 and yes its Java.

If you visit the forum there is a poll about dual boxes. This can easily be changed depending on what the community wants.

Thanks,

WaW, good point :) were the hell did I read it was interlude, honestly I have no clue. In this case it's not that hardcore and rates are ok, still it's the thing with 2 box that it's a personal turnoff.

"Your Options:
No Box = This option is for people that love to play with other players. Keep in mind soloing late game may get hard with no buffer box etc.
1 Main + 1 Box = This option is for people that like to have a buffer with them while they solo. This seems to be the most common choice for most people.
1 Main + 9 Box = This option is for people that like to make lots of different classes. This mainly appeals to people that like to solo farm."

I think you should extend the poll to, 3box/4box/5box...for example I might not want 10box as you suggest but I would be ok with 4 box or 3box.

Anyway, in all honesty, I don't think you should put any restriction on boxing, doubt people will go with 9-10box, that's the option only if you use 3rd party programs, w/o programs I belive a max of 4 box is kinda all a regular player can handle. I doubt that even with no box restrictions, most people will box more then 3.

P.S - Have you seen anyone making 10box w/o program? If you did, let me know, i'm really curios.

Hi,

You make a good point.

From 1 Main + 1 Buffer to 1 main + 9 Box is a big jump. There needs to be something in between.

I have added a 1 + 4 option for dual box, and the forum post has been updated, and added it to the poll.

I am against having unlimited boxes on a server. I don't want to have a server with thousands of offline shops, hence the box limitation poll.

In the past I ran 10 boxes easily on my computer with out program's (I played WL, WC, OL, PP, BD, SS, EE, Crafter, Spoiler and Bishop). People with high end computers can handle up to 20 box's easily.

Hi,

That is indeed an interesting way to play.

However he would have been better of with a KVM switch rather then having a make shift keyboard mechanism and lots of mouse.

I assume that would only appeal to players that want to solo / farm.

I don't think people would have to do that these days. Most computers can run 2-3 clients with low graphics.

Still, offline shop is not really a part of actual gaming, you can just make a separate rule for that no voting required, 1 off shop.

But when it comes to the actual click on mob thing, I stand by my opinion that even if no limit boxes, only a handfull of people will bother to box more then 3. And since is h5, you don't need all those boxes you mentioned in you're post ((n the past I ran 10 boxes easily on my computer with out program's (I played WL, WC, OL, PP, BD, SS, EE, Crafter, Spoiler and Bishop)), since now EE and SE kinda the same thing with pomanders, OL and PP again, pretty much the same thing, unless you really want + rezists and counter critical, WC is pretty much all is needed nowdays for a fighter and OL for a mage. So Most likely a fighter would box WC and BD or sws, and a mage OL and se or ee, and a bd.

It's true that persons with high end computer can run lot of boxes but I as I said, and say again, majority of people will only play 2 or 3 box, and if some can afford and have the time to play 9 box... good for them.

Hi,

If there is lots of requests for unlimited box's on the forum, I might consider it.

However I will leave the dual box options as it is for now.

Thanks for your feedback.

No there won't be a lot of requests for unlimited box, however if it's you're server you should do as you think it's right not how other think it is. That would be something new in L2 private server world, an admin that knows what he wants and stands by his decision. If you choose to "follow the community desire", good luck with that, nothing new.
