Hello L2community...
I quit l2 couple years ago(career matters) and i was thinking to make a dynamic come back with opening a server.
As a player is was alright but I have no clue of programming and set up a server really.
I can asure you that it will be the most convinient but fair server,as a player i know the joy of this game and what a serious player asks for,i lack the programmer.
So I am looking for a talented one who loves the game,is professional and knows how to make it from scratch.

Lineage2 is still alive, but not the real one like 5years ago , if u made any server make it like C4,C5 or Interlude max chronicle , there are many old players who are looking for this kind of server, they wanna remember the old time, some developers try to made servers like that but im not sure they really succses, many crashes,disconect's,bugs and etc. If u have a good machine, find good developers who can remove the bugs and GM team is active u can make GREAT SERVER. I suggest you to be C4 - Interlude chronicle and less than 5x rate and ofcourse Offi platform and good protect. If ur machine can hold 5-6k ppl u will succses. And about donations dont make donations for class change and etc. manny ppl will not join becouse of that, maximun u can add Hats or smthing like that. And u need really good protection .

I agree with you,the best chronicle for me was c3,what i have in mind exactly is to make a c4 server with all godess of destruction features plus unique costumes(not armors just to sow off lol) and with a rate that can be welcoming.About the donations i do not want the server to be unfair and have super players to battle with regular,i know the feeling but i hired 2 very good developers and a host server with DDOS protection and it can hold up to 5.500 ppl plus 2 GM's with me 3 that i pay them so they can give their best and do not do transactions in the shadows because i lived it as well,so the budget of the server is quite and i need a way to pay the staff mostly.
About the quests whoever does them normally the reward is going to be bigger than buying it and that is my motivation,also no enchanted weapons etc.

SUURE remember old time? dude c6 server are more than enough interlude server are more than all h5 epilogue, freya,gfinal servers combined, ppl alrdy remembered old times more than 100 times. To make c6 server its pointless, they suck hard. No one cant bring u old times same as no one can bring u lost friends or sth like that.

Yep it was good time, and l2nostalgia was with good future but gm's loose it so it dead yes. So when u will post Features about ur planning server? i tell u already c4-c5-c6 , exp less than 5x , and some advertisement will be the best choise for server, sure it must be stable not like nostalgia.

Don't go with C4 ,yeah that chronicle used to be really cool but if you compare it with IL its almost the same thing while on IL there a lot more things to do and zones to go to(PI for example) plus some really important skill changes and extra skills.And ofc dont make it really low like the other dude said ,all the top C4-IL servers back in the "old times" besides high rates or faction ones had rates x15-35 with some small exceptions.Even BFDR which is constantly under DDoS attack / has a bad reputation latelly ,has gathered800-1000 players on the x100.Another example ,official servers[GoD+] aren't considered low rates anymore !You can easilly lvl yourself up to 50-55 lvl in a day(or maybe more).

Long story short : IL has a lot more advantages than C4 , rates should be x10-30maximum IMO.

most likely it will be x3 with one client per pc and almost like the offi,the players will have to make everyting on their own and there will be support buffer until 40,the 1st and 2nd ocupation would be either done or buyable (but quite expensive) and the 3rd they will have to do it and the noblesse one as well along with the subclass.
there will be 2nd coin that they would be able to buy with euros(because the expenditures will be huge) but it will not sell items,only misk stuff,masks,hats and pets but they would be able to find them via quest also or events and it is going to be interlude.
the hardcore retail comes back and every ocupation is going to have it's charisma

for nore details check my reply above.about DDOS and the server,i bought the anti ddos 360$ i think we are not going to have a problem and the server can handle 5.500 players,not that aim to that ammount the goal i aim is for the best quality i can achieve for the ones playing.
i will have more info in the end of the week and a date of opening by monday,you will also see advertisments.

I think 1 account per pc is nice.
Low rate (x3-x5) looks nice too.
What you need is a powerful anti-bot but mainly active GM who track and ban botter. Because botter discourage people to spend hours to exp then leave.
About chronicle I don't know what is better between the oldder (c4-c5-c6) and the lastest (Gf-Ge).
Just don't go for H5 or GoD.

if server look nice like this I will try it for the efforts you made. (actually I'm in L2 break)
