There is a factioned Server namned InfL2 out there with around 100 players population.
Its all based on some good ideas, but the funny thing is, those 100 players are never the same.
If u get good enough to kill the gms altchars (Requiem = Aba / Builder = LeeroyJenkins) in events, you get jailed out. They cloud everything by editing any new threads and massjailing people who know how corrupt they are. Remembers me of the good old L2Dex strategy. However, playing there is a total waste from minute 1.
Be warned, it looks fancy but the admin is worse than Hitler.

Its not truth, ive played there long time, and they ban only ppl that deserve for it, by cheating (3rd program usage), and if someone is sayingbullshit, or cheat on events they only jain for 30min to 5kmin for being retarded, its very nice server with nice comunity that reach 800 online, but they vgot 2 factions Red - half and other half - Blue, and shitload of great events like TvT, CTF, minigames, Battleground, and its the best L2 server u could ever seen with extra customs, so as they said there:
shut up RANDOM and gtfo, u propably get banned or jailed, for being retarded or speaking ur l33t language

I dont care being jailed cause I left after so many ppl got harassed by the gms.
They find redicoulus jailreasons to prevent you from playing if u say the balancing is bad or sth.
If there are 18 vs 9 players and the script doesnt rearange it, it is obviously bad and they know it. But its easier to port u around half an hour until you complain and jail you for mouthing off then 5k minutes.

There were never more than 150 ppl online on each faction since the Server exists and since you can do 4 offline shops that count as online players there are never more than 40 vs 40 ppl in events.
There are stats showing how many players are in the events on what side, Iam not making numbers up, like lol800.

Some maps are that big that you dont even find your opponent.
When the builders char popped up (at first unknown its him), suddenly they changed Backstab doing enormous damage and guess what, his char is GH.

In addition, you can donate for everything. You start with B grade and have to kill donated s grade ppl with donated levels and donated CoV POTIONS, yea potions...

You can even buy an expensive donator status that prevents you from being jailed and gives you the ability to have direct influence on the class balancing.
