Serpent Gaming Network is a free Lineage II gaming service running Java based files developed by the Lineage II Dragon Claw team (L2DC). We will be hosting a low rate (4x) PvE and a (proposed) mid rate (20x) PvP systems running the Gracia Epilogue chronicle. It will be hosted in Germany but the server will be International, however all open chats (including Hero Chat) must be done in English.

The log-in and gaming systems are hosted on separate hardware locations, as is the website and forums. This is to reduce the problems of lag as much as possible without sacrificing the enjoyment of the game. Our databases are automatically backed up every day and stored on a remote file storage system apart from the main database server to prevent data loss; at the most you will lose 1 day of game time in the event of a devastating system crash.

Grand Wedding Ceremony
GRAND WEDDING is a brand new in game feature that is unlike the old Wedding System. Unlike the old wedding system this one takes it to completely new heights as it goes beyond the normal “Go to the NPC; pay the fee and your married.” Instead you are treated to a complete wedding ceremony, complete with honor guard, NPC guests and the option to have normal players sign up as guests. If you meet the necessary requirements you and your guests are teleported to Fantasy Island. But the best feature is the built in panning-camera “cut-scene” system similar to when one of the Epic Bosses awakens that is used in between scenes. The bride and groom have to interact with the Grand Wedding Priest when he asks them the “Do you..” question, then when it is over you are each presented with a special gift compliments of the Serpent L2 System.

ERICA (20x):

This server is not yet finalized and I do not even know if we will have it. If players do decide (by poll) to want it then it will go online 1 or 2 months after Bartz.

MAIN FEATURES:

GM SHOP will have the normal items such as shots, potions and standard gear for sale except SA items which you must get on your own. There will be no quest items, enchant scrolls and a limit selection of potions that will consist mostly for healing.

Donation Gear is not like normal gear as you receive a Token that you can redeem at the NPC to receive “S”, “S80” and “S84” gear. However, anything from the Donation Section has been reworked so that once you buy something it is bound to the character who bought it; you cannot drop, trade or sell it. This was done to prevent any form on unbalance to the system since only that character can use it; the only two things you CAN do is store it in your warehouse or destroy it.

Note: The DONATION GEAR is just a planned idea and is still in the planning stages; what you see might not be the final decision. This feature will depend mostly on player feedback before I make a final decision. If there seems to be any problems with it then this feature will not be used and no item donations will be used instead.

SPECIAL FEATURES (Erica):

OFFLINE SHOP/CRAFT RESTORATION means that if you have an offline shop set and the server does a reboot or shutdown your store is saved and then automatically placed online again after the restart. No more having to reset your offline shops after a reboot.
