as I said in my post before: It's safe to say the server will "launch" tomorrow, when they can get help from their hosting center.

Taking care of a DDoS without help of your hosting center isn't really fool-proof. They can only keep blocking the botnet IPs and a few other things, which is as easy as the people whom are performing the DDoS switching botnets... It's a never-ending circle for now. :<

thats why they should open server at monday w/o epic fail from the begining...... BTW i ll w8 til tommorow if admins do nothing with those attacs EMO QUIT from my side :P

Opening on the weekends has pros and cons, sadly the worst con is getting DDoSed and being inable to get help from the Hosting Center. Stick around, you won't regret it.

This is enough of a reason not to open on weekends. Getting half of the population in the first days > no population at all+server destroyed

So much disappointed people :lol: what did you expected? I even created topic at servers forum about it, to remember admins that possibility, because I was 80% sure that server gonna have DDoS.

Ye, and a server so rare. The balance of GF, where element is worth having; with the GOOD features of Hi5/Freya. WITHOUT bugs... it insured 100% ddos chance. :(


edit: why do I have a gut feeling fr3dbr is behind the ddos when he's the one that sold them the files? D: Can't think of any good BR servers out atm, and that's all that comes to my mind; if you see it and it offends you it's just an accusation and it's only as serious as you decide to take it.
