Retail doesn't wipe, they merge servers instead, also they don't have custom respawn times for epics.

All in one just go check the forums and see people complaining about pvp, it's not gonna change with HB, people hardly farm epics or even pvp simply because there isn't anything to do.

Regarding corruption on L2-Renewal.
I've heard rumors that Sawk may have given something to a real life friend of his, but that is all I have heard. Although I do not find it to be true, because I have never witnessed this action myself, nor have I asked Sawk about it or been given any proof whether this action is true or false. It is most likely a false in my honest opinion.

Other than that, there are other rumors floating about out there like on any major server. Like this person Serion says (which is also a rumor I might add); that, the number of people active on the server is being manipulated on the frontpage of L2-Renewal.
But how can this be proven true by Serion, or be proven false by Sawk?

Either way, this does not sound like a bad thing even if it was true.

Regarding the community of L2-Renewal.
In my honest opinion, people like Serion has already created a virtual image in his mind about how people act, and how things are developed around him. So there is no real point in convincing him otherwise. As another one of Serion's statement are displayed; that, people from the L2-Renewal community comes to this forum only to flame, and that shows how bad the community of L2-Renewal really is.
And that is his image of me as well I guess since I'm from the L2-Renewal community. No, there are plenty of other exceptions within the L2-Renewal community that has written in this thread already, without having to highlight profanity or use insults to provoke responses.

Why would L2-Renewal be considered better than most?
I have personally experienced playing on servers previously created by Sawk and DHX, and they have been outstanding compared to so many others (not mentioning what servers). Donations are kept at a minimum to maintain stability, and the GM's listen to what the players have to say - and without direct interference with what is happening on the server they seek actions profitable for all of us.
I remember this one server I was on (not mentioning which one), where the owner of the server had his own radio show, and he was playing actively on the server in his own GM clan - once we PVP'ed their clan and won times over, flaming became essential, and in the end he banned our entire clan. This is something that would never happen on Sawk's servers.
Not to mention, that you will not find tattoo items about or donated weapons / armor / jewels.

People that are complaining about having to wait for events, or actions to be made on certain elements in the game like "OP"-issues, are usually not worth listening to. In my honest opinion, without the meens of sounding rude in any way, the people that complain about server issues and "TTT" are spoiled children. Yes, they do exist on this server as well.

Some of the best players of Lineage II has set their foot in DHX' and Sawks servers, and the lot of them has staid, because they cannot find any other servers worth going to, or games worth leaving for.

The server is well balanced, and with Hellbound coming out the server will be even more balanced (archer- and nuker wise). My guess is that the new race will be a bit overpowered but there is nothing Sawk will not do to fix the problem.

I would also like to agree on a wipe.

I'm in the clan that surely "dominated" L2-Renewal since it was up and running, and we have the majority of boss jewels as of now. I find it unfair for new players that will have to go in and fight us as we are now. I would also like to see some changes, and I would definitely like some more competition.

But last time we mentioned this (our clan wanted the wipe) people hated the idea, and told us to delete or give away our boss jewels if we really wanted the competition. Something that we clearly did not have in mind, because fighting for Ant Queen, Baium, and so forth, is the most fun this game has to offer beside castle sieges.
Even if we deleted our boss jewels, or gave them away, people wouldn't show up to take Ant Queen or Baium - and we would be without PVP.
