I like both IL and epilouge cuz both has advantages and disadvantages. But EP would be better IL is more boring and have less thing to do.

many people are tired but I already have it,many people wont even botter to download it,epilogue has many new features and its more funny,its hard to solo in il and duall boxing is forbiden so many people gonna cry for dual boxing thats why

dude, believe me, il is the best chronicle so far. having less things to do make the game more attractive, u don't have to stay all day long to farm and that's kewl.

I do not mine Epilogue but as many people state the game is too easy now with Vitality boosts and "C" Grade gear sold in normal NPC shops. The biggest problem with Epilogue is it is NOT designed for new players as 90% of the new stuff is for level 80+ players. You can teleport for free until level 41 and use the 1 hour newbie buffer until level 72. lol

The thing I always hated with Epilogue was that NOTHING was changed as far as quests, etc for characters under level 70. I still play on retail and once you hit level 40 things slow down, then get worse when you hit 60. Oh, and forget about trying to find "A" Grade stuff to buy as the bulk of the gear being sold is "S" and S80; "D" and "C" Grade gear can be purchased from NPC shops. From level 60 to 70 is a long, grind fest and almost impossible to get good gear unless you are in a really good clan. Once you hit level 80 though, you will finally begin to get some PvP action as players laugh at PvP on retail if you are under level 80 as they consider it useless and not worth their time.

The only good thing they added with Epilogue was the Pailaka and Kamaloka instance dungeons, but even those get boring really fast. I absolutely hate Vitality, and many of the "new" features in L2 were "borrowed" from World of Warcraft. In my opinion, while good in theory, Epilogue was designed for lazy, part-time players. In Epilogue they did not do anything with Prophets as far as new skills until you get 70+ and even those are somewhat lame. Other classes now have skills that make support classes almost useless.

As for the boxing thing nothing is finalized yet, so please wait until I have made a solid decision. Players are allowed to give their input as well, plus eventually I will run some polls to get more input.

Heaven forbid that a player should try to find a Prophet, Shilen Elder or Bishop to group with for heals and buffs. And it would be just horrible to actually PLAY a support character since many players do enjoy it.

not exactly my point of view, but u're absolutely right.
interlude was and is the most played chronicle, the funniest and the greatest times will always be there, when crafting c-grades and busting ur ass for a-grades ...
in il, when u have s-grade u say : "zomfg, dude, i pwnz !!!"
whilst in epilogue u say "ah, not a big deal, s80's now ..."

My personal favorite chronicle was C3 because if you actually had a full set of "D" grade you were uber rich and powerful.

I used to love doing pole groups in the Necros and Catacombs with my clan buddies, grinding for that precious SP to get your clan to level 3. In Epilogue if your clan level is under 7 you are considered a joke.

Castle sieges used to be a wondrous thing to do, today it is simply a multibox feature with only half of the actual clans playing a character while the rest are automated.

C1 to Interlude made you feel as if you accomplished something each time you got your higher level gear. The problem with L2 now is the younger crowd look at it as a grind fest, boring and taking too much of their precious time. If that is the case go play on high rate servers and leave the low rate ones to the professional players because if you know what you are doing then leveling and getting gear is not that difficult. Today if you cannot buy it then the game sucks according to many posts and other servers I have looked at.

now imagine if u would have to make dual revo and crystalize them to make c grade items and grind continously for soul crystals and etc
imo i would quit l2 if i would have to do all those boring activities again and again and again

That is what originally got me hooked on L2, you had to work for your stuff. Today it is too easy.

epilogue= too much farm
ppl will jump from b grade to s grade bcoz a grade is totally useless since u cant put attributes ..
when u get s grades u wont get so satisfied bcoz s80>s
interlude is much more balanced and so much fun farming in gc and other places for a grade recipes etc

about a grade party,u re right,with common shits u can get ur S grade,but interlude,hell one party destro were able to kill anything including baium :/

you (and most gf/epiloge fans) prefer newer chronicles cuz they are easier. you were simply spoiled by the new features that made the gameplay easier/faster imo. now you make faces when you see "no dualbox", but pre-HB chronicles are meant to be played without dualboxes.
in newer chronicels it doesnt really matters because of npc buffs until lv72. and you can have common gear. and with a bit of brain you can get to high levels really fast with vitality/kamaloka's.
the thing is that you might have to grind a lot in newer chronicles to get high equip/skills, but i rather see that boring while interlude is challenging from lvl1.

i think epilogue is the most balanced chronicle but, its even 'too balanced', most class had something significant in older chronicles but all these things were nerfed.

every aspect of epilogue is either annoying or boring for me (expect for some minor things like mail system)

in epilogue tanks are beasts at oly .. same goes for soulhounds or duelists
