I think injuries are what caused us to lose this game. I'm not going to get into it about the Quarterbacks because I believe there is more to it than just that. Hillis wasn't playing at 100% either and Jerome Harrison was virtually a non-factor. We probably would've gotten better mileage out of asking Jamal Lewis to come and suit up for us. That pick six that Delhomme threw was ugly, and he looked exactly like he did week one when he was playing hurt. I think that was a critical decision in this game to put him in. All game TBPP in particular said that Seneca looked like he had less of a limp but there had to be a reason he wasn't starting in comparison to Jake. When he went down it didn't look pretty. Not the momentum builder I was hoping for heading into the big game with the Steelers but it should still show how we can handle the better teams. Our D was keeping us in the game but Atlanta's offense wore them down over the course of the game. Great clock managment and really solid offensive strategy. I thought that we could learn a thing or two from this game but our coaches, unfortunately, are a pretty |
