Post subject:  Advice? for choosing classes/race
hello, i'm new to the game and am currently downloading the client

so.... i'm quite interested in tyrants / destroyers?
what make them so good?

i really wanna play a job that is fun and doesn't require that hell much of luxury equipments to be strong....

is there any kind of job like that?
very interested with tyrant....seems fun
but destroyer seems to be super strong from what i've read in forums

suggestions&advices are greatly appreciated

i think i'm also interested in gladiators , well i think ORCS are just....
quite...i don't know ... but sometimes i may need a new race cause most MMORPG game i played is always HUMANS....

but oh well might actually use gladiator

well i really want a fun class
very lowrate server i'm playing, its the offcial server for my country

treasure hunter? seems fun what makes them good?
seems that i lost my interest on ORCS somehow...

i want a fun job....which not so weak but quite strong and superbly fun !

wow, thanks a lot for those suggestions,
well am quite bored with archers,

i think i'm going for gladiator or treasure hunter
what do u mean 1 hit kill? to monsters or players?
how do gladiators hunt then? is it hard?

whats the difference between abyss walker and treasure hunters?

interested in these now:

In fact gladiators are not soo good as Euphoria described. When you have to level up, they are terrible. In pvp they are fine, but tyrant is still much more potential.

Tyrants were always good in pvp, and levelling them is really easy. All you need is vampiric rage buff, and you can hardly die.
They are really versatile in pvp, they can use different tactic vs different enemies, and thanks to their enormous amount of HP, defeating them is a REAL pain in the head.

Treasure Hunter is one of the most popular classes, thx to its high CON high STR and average DEX. They are good at leveling and they have an edge in pvp too. Their problem is that landing skills on enemies requires luck. Their blow success rate is around 70%. So if you are not a lucky one, you should clearly not choose this class.

Abyss Walker on the other hand (my favourite dagger) has the highest STR, and a REALLY nice DeX, but their CON is weak. Their best ability is that they can kill almost every class with one stab. Not all, but many of them. Plus they can use their racial magic abilities, like weakening the enemy by decreasing their defense and attack. They almost never miss blows when they reach lvl 78, and after that they are even more lethal.

So I say, that Tyrant is a perfect choice.
If you want to be a backstabbing bastard than choose a dagger. TH is perfect when you learn how to act as a dagger. AW and PW are for more professional players.

these tyrants TH and abyss, how do they hunt?
group hunt? or solo hunt? vampiric rage buff from what class?

and yes, i think i'm very interested in playing tyrant,
but me and my 2-3 other friends intend to play this game together,
for both pvp and hunts anyone mind telling me a nice group of class and so on? like perhaps me as tyrant another as priest and treasure hunter or what, cause i'm still clueless... and do different races act as enemy here? like RF?


just finished downloading the patch and will play it tonight!

there are different kinds of buffers...if you want vampiric rage then try warcryer buffer cause can help you with other buffs too for fighters...
i never like treasure hunter..its a dagger it means die fast...and also daggers have to be deadly in some short time...th miss skill so i dont prefer it...as a new player you ca go for archer is very easy char...also tyrant is good and can manage good vs many classes...gladi is good too...i could pwn almost everyone with gladi...but gladi needs more experience to play...its not f1 f2 f3 like the most ppl say.. make tyrant mate and make a warcryer as buffer... ;)

I'd never recommend gladi/daggerers/archers for new players or those who're lack of equipment/parties/buffs. They require too many things and it's too hard to play with them[archers die fast too and their pve sux in gracia].
I prefer SE over WC for most classes, even for tyrant, since it has lord of vampire and stigma.

lord of vampire lasts only 30 seconds.

ontopic: tyrants arent easy for a fresh player ; u have the totems which u must know when to change etc.

as first class id suggest u bladedancer u get to know ur role in parties and how other classes work;

if dont wanna try BD go for destro ; u wanted to tru it anw , but it aint as good as before ; its still rlly cool, and easy to play.

but it has a 80% vamp effect and it can be used in like 5-10mins, it's very epic in tight situations, even in pvp

o rly?
try playing solo tank with shitty gear
with dagger u can atleast crit and lethal sometimes
with tyrants its not a big deal since u can exchange one weapon to fists at mammon


vanguard is quite improved nowadays and tanks are far the best for pets, so i'd rather lvl a tank than he/glad

Tsuki, bd is the most fragile fighter in the whole game, so u need to pay a lot of attention and w/o a party it's almost impossible to lvl alone after 70

a good server may always provide parties

Bladedancer is a veeeery good and veeery popular character.

You will get parties with bladedancer everywhere ( hunting, pvp, RB parties) The most important thing about BD is that you must learn how to save your mana, because you will have to keep up 3-4 dances continually.

Hang on,there is another way to start,soulhound or berserker...funny zerker class :) try it on any pvp server to see its plusses and minuses by yourself
