Same as the dyes topic,i'll make a similar topic about what equipment to use altho it's simple enough on every classes.will be updated :D

ok i'll start.(remember this is for lvl 40+ only,for lower levels use whatever you like ).also i won't be posting the jewels to use as the higher the grade of them,the better they are.

1.Daggers (Plains Walker,Abyssal Walker, Treasure Hunter) :

C-grade :

PVE : Dark Screamer + Focus (no need upgrading to Crystal due to the fast way from 40 to 52) and Plated Leather Set (best set for any dd but also the most expensive)

PVP : Cystal Dagger + Critical Damage and Theca Leather set for more pdef.

B-grade :

PVE : Kris + Focus (more criticals) + either overenchanted Plated Leather Set (+6 or more) or Doom Light Set

PVP : Demon Sword + Might Mortal (best weapon for all daggers for pvp) if you have one from C3 or Demon Sword + Critical Damage and Doom Light Set(you can't use PL set due to low pdef which means pretty much in pvp)

A-grade :

PVE : Bloody Orchid + Focus or some overenchanted lower grade weapon.as for armor,I recommend Nightmare Light set or DC light (cheaper and makes you faster :) )

PVP : Soul Separator + Critical Damage or Demon Sword + MM (see above) and as for armor,you must have more than one set and use them according to the sittuation:
- against stunners, go for majestic light if you don't have some boss jewels
- against non-stunners, go for Nightmare light set
- against nukers, go for NM light set also

2.Archers (Hawkeye, Phantom Ranger, Silver Ranger) :
note: all farming bows have the cheap shot SA for no downtime

C-grade :

PVE : Eminence bow + Cheapshot or Akat bow clean and Plated Leather Set (best set for any dd but also the most expensive)

PVP : Crystalized Ice Bow + Quick Recovery and Plated Leather Set.

B-grade :

PVE : Bow of Peril + Cheapshot + either overenchanted Plated Leather Set (+6 or more) or Doom Light Set

PVP :Bow of Peril + any SA and Doom Light Set(you can't use PL set due to low pdef which means pretty much in pvp)

A-grade :

PVE : Soul Bow + CheapShot and Majestic Light Set

PVP : Soul Bow + Quick Recovery and Majestic Light Set for all classes.if you're having trouble against nukers,go for NM Light.

3. Nukers (Sorcerers, Spellsingers, Spellhowlers and Necromancers)

C-grade :

PVE : Sword of Whispering Death + Empower and Demon Set for more spell damage. This combination is chosen over the classic Karmian + Homunkulus Acumen Set for the fact that more damage is more important in farming than faster hits for the fact that having more damage can make the difference from killing a mob in two or three hits.

PVP : Homunkulus Sword + Acumen and Karmian Robe Set for better cast speed.

B-grade :

PVE : Sword of Valhalla + Acumen or Overenchanted Homunkulus Sword and Doom Robe Set

PVP : Sword of Valhalla + Acumen and Avadon Robe Set

A-grade :

PVE : Elemental Sword + Magic Power and Nightmare Robe Set

PVP : Sword of Miracles + Acumen and DC Robe Set

S-grade :

PVE : Imperial Staff + Empower and DC Robe Set (Major Arcana Set is garbage)

PVP : Arcana Mace + Acumen and DC Robe Set

4.Summoners (Warlock , Phantom Summoner , Elemental Summoner)
note : for summoner classes you use mostly the same gear for both pve and pvp.also for PVP some recommend using a health weapon for more survivability.therefore you can use Waraxe + health or some other Health weapon instead of the ones I recommended

C-grade :

PVE and PVP : depends on your style.you can either go nuker/support/dd gear.this only applies until lvl 52.
- nuker : Homunkulus Sword + Acumen/ SOWD Empower and Karmian/Demon set
- DD : Dual Raid + Plated Leather Set
- Support : Karmian/Divine + Homunkulus Acumen/Conversion

B-grade :

PVE and PVP: Sword of Valhalla + Acumen and Blue Wolf Robe Set

A-grade :

PVE : Sword of Miracles or Branch of the Mother Tree +Acumen and Tallum Robe Set

PVP : Same weapons as for PVE and DC Robe Set

The best equip for archers in pvp is BOP+QR & TallumPlate(vs ranged classes) and BWhwy(vs melee classes )

PvE armor Nukers until S grade = Demon's Set
PvE armor Nukers after 76 = DC Robe Set

If u're having trouble with demon's gloves.. u need to make Coin Of Magic Quest and gather 220 Gold Wyverns ;20 Silver Unicorns ; and 20 Blood Medusas (20/20/20 for Collector Membership lvl 2 and 200 for Demon's Gloves)
P.S. U can't get those demon's gloves fabrics near Floran Village anymore.. U need to complete the quest.


B grade armor PvE armor for archers = BW light
B grade armor PvP armor for archers = either Doom Light , either BW light.

A grade armor PvE DC Light/Tallum Plate/Maj Lght Sets
A grade armor PvP
- against stunners Maj. Lght / Maj. Hvy
- against non-stunners DC Lght / Tallum Hvy


Now what i choose on retail (IL)?

Nukers

C grade Karmian + Demon's Set + Homu + Acu
B grade Ava/BW rbe + Demon's Set + either OE Homu + Acu either SOV + Acu
A grade DC Rbe Set + Demon's Set + SoM + Acu
S grade DC Rbe Set + AM + Acu

Archers

C grade Plated Leather Set / Composite + Eminence CS
B grade BW light + BOP + CS / Doom light + BOP + QR [ BoP + QR (1300 re'use delay) it's better than BoP + CS (1500 re'use delay) but i'm talking about extreme low rates where 30%in plus on xp'ing counts a lot.. and where i am always in Range Partyes Type so i'll definetely choose BW light + BoP + CS)
A grade Soul Bow + CS + Maj light (Re'use delay on SB + CS = 800 and on SB + QR = 700 so obviously i choose Cheap Shot )
S grade DB + Focus + Maj light

Daggers

C-grade :

Dark Screamer + Focus / Crystal Dagger + Crt Dmg + Plated Leather / Composite Hvy + Eminence Bow

B-grade :

Kris + Focus / Demon Dagger + Critical Damage + Doom Light Set
+ Demon's Sword + Might Mortal + BoP + QR

A-grade :

Bloody Orchid + Focus /Soul Separator + Critical Damage + DC light / Maj Light + Demon's Dagger + MM + BoP+QR

S-grade

OE BO + Focus / Angel Slayer + Critical Damage + Draconic Light/DC light

except you still use that crappy BW LIGHT (for the love of god,you don't need this armor,use doom light instead...WHY CAST SPEED ON ARCHERS????? )
if you want to enjoy playing lineage 2 with archers, don't ever use blue wolf light.that armor is for healers/buffers.
and daggers in composite? really? all light armor wearing users rely on evasion rather than a bit pdef.kentz0ne i don't give a crap if you play on retail for x years as long as you make false and stupid statements.

i use a bounty hunter, and i have Art of Battle axe SA haste.. at this time its better health than haste? in my opinion haste is because i use the dwarf in PvP, my clan have a prophet with haste lvl 2 and berseker lvl 2, dances and my atk speed is more than 800.. so its better haste or health?

Rofl i don't care about that Cast Speed 15% .. i don't even use that armor on OL/WC or PP/SE/EE/BS ... etc..

BW = 5.2% P def + 3 Men
Doom = -1% P. Atk - 2 Con + 3Dex

I don't know about u but i prefer to make partyes all the time so believe me CheapShot Bow + BW light it's the best choice u can have..
P.S. On buffers i always put BW robe.. not light lmao.

Now about Composite ..
One question : Have u ever tryed Composite instead of Theca/Mithril/Plated ??
Heavy armors doesn't decrease evasion for god sake
Go experience on some 52321412421412 x srvr a th 52 in composite against a th 52 in plated and see who will won most of the time...
