Hello, there's something here thats been bothering me for a while, its about magical crits. Im having a real problem deciding now whether I should go Elemental Summoner (ES) or Spellsinger (SPS) aswell because of this. Theres alot of discussion to be made why one should pk one or another of these, but thats not whats for discussion here, unless of course you want to, then go ahead, but this thing interested me about about magic crits.

There is nothing that ever showed how much chance for a magicial crit you have. There is no info about it, and these forums doesn't really making it easy to search for it either, so I made this thread.

Spellsinger has a great advantage here with high WIT which says to increase magical crits.

Now I heard the cap for magic crits is 20%. After that you will not get any more. We have only WIT, Wild Magic, Dance Of Siren and Necklace of Valakas that increases Magic crit rate right?

So how much is actually needed for 20% magic crit rate?

And how much chance does the buffs actually add?

Im wondering if there is any Magic Crit formulas around, something that could explain how it all works and how much everything adds. For example, how much would +9 WIT actually add?

Im guessing with all the above buffs and the Necklace of Valakas you would have alot more than just 30% magic crit. Right?

Kind Regards,
Faithful Elf.

I was thinking, can't you see things like this when you have the L2 server DB? As in the real files of the server? Like how much % Crit things does and how much WIT actually effects it? Then why have noone even bothered to explain how this works..? Hmm.

Kind Regards,
Faithful Elf.

Okay I found something on stratics game info site..

http://lineage2.stratics.com/content/fe ... ccritrate/

But its not really accurate.. The buffs combined seem to increase the crit too much.. 101% magic crit rate with everything.. Lol

if its above or equal to 100%, you will simply have mcrit every time you cast your spell ... in lower chronicles there wasn't any limit for this, so e.g. in IL with passive/active Wild Magic lvl 10 you had 100% for sure (tested) ... in higher updates there's 30% limit

in ct2.2 max crit rate of magic is 20% and you start with a 10% crit basis
siran and wm have been reduced in power
valakas necklace too

I see, so playing with the latest update it will be 20% or 30%..?
Got some varied answers there, not really sure what to believe :P

In full buff they have the same 20% chance to inflict M.crit. Yes.
In self buff SpS has the advantage thx to its WIT, but my friend has a theory about INT influencing mcritrate after C5. Not tested yet.
