Post subject:  What About Dagger classes

ok guys, long time reading opinions, time to post mine..

3 dagger classes, aw, pw and th

Lets see some + and - of each one of them

first of all, lets compare TH with AW, since its the most common daggers.
aw's have 34 dex, and TH 30, also dark elves has more base speed than humans, that makes a total of 150 speed compared to 137 of TH at lvl85 (even with +4 dex TH has 142speed, less than a same-dex abyss walker)

AW's have 32 con, and TH 43, this is a big plus no beacause of the HP. HP is about the same.. no im not retarted, HP is about the same, lets see some numbers
AW with +5 con, 37 con total (which is a "must" in my opinion) has 4877HP and 2438CP.. what about TH? Most TH's go like -3/-4 con, lets say -4, 39 con total, that gives 4358HP and 2179CP
so an AW with 37 con has 4877hp and TH with 39 con has 4358hp..!!!!

so, HP is about the same (depents on dyes), but con is mostly important for the stun resist. Stun resist is what makes TH kinda better tank than AW. AW w/o boss jewels or mj is a stun magnet, wich gives TH here a big plus

STR is about the same, but in the end, TH has more Base stats than AW (6 more, but he cant go skyhigh dex coz of the 30 base dex)

Lets see the skills now
AW (same is true for PW) has WAY BETTER SKILLS than TH
AW has focus death. A must skill for Daggers
Blinding blow + mortal strike + more base speed > Critical Blow + dash
Hex
Ghost walking which is insane better than Exciting adventure***
CounterAttack >> Mirage (retargeting is easy for an experienced player, can be used also with macros or /nexttarget, Counterattack can give you free secs of attacking the opponent, yes it can! if you know the skill)
Evasion counter > Evasion haste
also AW has some not so good but very usefull skills compared to other daggers like, Sting, Poison, Freezing strike, Power Break, witch can be very good especially at olympiad where AW is way much better (due to Ghost walking)

TH has skills like Boost attack speed, Critical Chance, Fake death, Stealth and his base stats makes him better at PvE

So PvE TH is better, can go -9 con w/o a prob, and can outdps any dagger due to his passive skills. He is a rogue, he has trick and switch, he can explore all areas like np, he has fake death and stealth
he is.. an ADVENTURER

As for AW, he is better at PvP, He can one shot, every robe user and kill every light user with the correct items. He is more like a killer, a killer that strikes under the belt, a dark assassin, he has hex and ghost walking
he is a GHOST HUNTER

***as for Exciting adventure, ghost walking, wind riding here are some numbers

Exciting Adventure
+20 speed
+15 Evasion
+30% Vital point attack rate
40% Physical Skill Evasion
Resistance to Buff canceling attacks by 90

Ghost Walking
+33 Speed
+15 Evasion
+40% Vital point attack rate
60% Physical Skill Evasion
Resistance to Buff canceling attacks by 90

(Wind Riding is better than both skills)

What you said is pretty much correct except the hp. Not many ghs will go +con.
And you're wrong about the pve. Aw is by far the best at pve because of hex. Pve-wise aw>th>pw.

Bottom line -> th is more tanky, aw/pw dish out more dmg, aw is incredible at pve whilst pw > aw in pvp (not by a huge margin, but not by a small margin either). This is statistically by looking at the skills. Although aw dishes out more overall dmg than pw. Higher base str which is usually increased with dye to 46. Lots of skill crits. This means that the aw will drop more targets in mass pvp than the pw. But in 1v1 pw has the odds in his favour.

PvE is not only about how fast you're killing creeps, PvE means Player versus Environment, and TH has fake death, stealth, dash. I Think, if you want to just enjoy the game as it is, and not focusing on PvP, TH is a better option to start with..

pve is pve
the more damage u deal the faster u kill mobs the better u do in pve
the more dmg u deal the lesser period of time the mob(s) hit u and inflict damage
the higher dps u have the higher the vamp effect is

yea if ur suicidal psycho and u love as a dagger making trains th is ur choice

I don't think so.

If you're careful you don't have to use fake death. Stealth is just luxury stuff, you can always use silent move, the only difference is slower results. And about dash. Aw/pw got blinding blow. Sure, +40 speed vs +63 speed but dash is not viable in pve since you can outrun any mob with blinding blow, so it fulfills its purpose. Dash has the same result.

And let's be serious, as caras said: in pve what matters the most is having the highest dps. Not fake death. Trains with th LOL.

I don't think you can increase the lethal chance.

Post subject:  Re: What About Dagger classes

Hey there.

I was trolling this forum a bit, yet i didnt found some answers and numbers i was looking for, so i hope this forum is not dead and is still maintained by the oldschoolers.

Thing is, i decided to play on gracia final server. And im rolling either PW or TH, yet i cant decide which one. You may be disappointed why i dont want AW, but the simple answer is, i like to destroy people by pulling huge train of mobs and hitting fake death. And their buffers ofc.

For the thing i need to know, i have no clue where to find EXACT characteristics and stats for skills in gracia, including reuse time, trigger chances and so on.

I would like to know reuse time of Exciting adventure and Wind riding (if theres a difference), what exactly does Wind riding, how exactly works Dodge skill and what is the reuse time of this skill, and last but not least, the damage difference in blows and stabs on PW + FD / TH + FP.

Thing is, I have no clue about the damage difference, and some PW skills, for i need to know if TH hits hard enough (in which case i choose TH for his utility - dash, stealth, both trick & switch) or not (Then I pick PW.)

Thanks in advance ;-)

I remember the fun at loa at c4 times with TH  lots of QQ from ppl that dropped items
but serious, don't concentrate to this, even at half spots mobs come back and u can't do trains

on this server, these pain trains are possible, so i stick to good old tactics to annoy ppl. And make them cry. Anyhow, questions still remain unanswered :-/

EA and WR reuse is the same. 5 mins if i remember well.
u can see by the skill description what each one does :
Exciting Adventure Lvl 1 For 30 seconds, increases one's own moving speed by 20, evasion by 15, deadly attack success rate by 30%, physical skill evasion rate by 40%, and resistance to buff canceling attacks by 90.

Wind Riding lvl 1 : For 30 seconds, increases one's own moving speed by 50, evasion by 20, deadly attack success rate by 20%, physical skill evasion rate by 75%, and resistance to buff canceling attacks by 80.

Dodge - 1 min reuse - evades (a lot) of physical or ranged skills.

PW + FD > TH + FP as damage or anything.

Go for PW.

Doing trains is stupid with a dagger, trust me, i tried this "tactic" and it blows (mainly cuz either mobs or players will kill u till u do fake death)

To lazy to copy paste all the info u need, work a bit for yourself
1) skill descriptions can be found at: http://lineage2.rochand.com/Knowledge/s ... race=human but this is H5 database, check patch notes to check changes on exciting skills
2) skills reuse time can be found on Korean off site: http://power.plaync.co.kr/lineage2/ just use google translator for it
3) triggers chances? Dunno, this u need to forums

Dodge - 1 min reuse - evades (a lot) of physical or ranged skills. 100% evade of meele psy skills and no evade on ranged skills (at least at GF files, dunno about later changes)
